The Daiz also says Buu Saga Gohan wasn't able to get a lot of power was due of his lack of rage unlike his CG counterpart. Afterwards, SSJ2 seems to be irrelevant with only Goku and Vegeta using it afterwards. Based on that, I don't see a problem with SSJ2 being 2X SSJ but to each their own I suppose. Personally, I don't believe in the SSJ multiplier staying 50X Base throughout the whole series.
