Something that I also noticed with the Past Paradox Pokémon is that they’re at least a little bit bigger than their Modern Day counterparts. And conversely, the Future Paradox Pokémon are a little bit smaller than their Modern Day Counterparts. It’s more evident in Great Tusk/Iron Treads and Slither Wing/Iron Moth when compared to Donphan and Volcarona respectively

New ideas: Raikou: Iron Tiger Entei: Iron Lion Suicune: Iron Leopard Terrakion: Rocky Horns Cobalion: Big antlers Virizion: Large Antenna
@kimberlyraminКүн бұрын
Not the best names, I think. Future paradox names very rarely list the animal as part of the name, the only example being Volcarona's Iron Moth. Usually, they'd just be a single body part or prominent feature, such as Hands, Bundles, or Jugulars. So I think better names for Future Beasts would be Iron Fangs for Raikou, Iron Smoke for Entei, and Iron Crystal for Suicune. Raikou's fangs are its most prominent and unique feature among the Beast, Entei's smoke mane would be dramatic and scary for a robotic creature to be emitting, and Suicune's crest resembles crystals, PLUS Suicune was the box legend for the third Johto game, CRYSTAL version. As for the Swords of Justice, is naming them after their large antlers/horns really the best option here? The Past Beasts were given powerful and dangerous sounding names that tied into their elemental typing, but you've named the after their horns? Virizion doesn't even have attenae, she has antlers, cause she's a deer creature. Bugs have attenae, they're super thin and stick up, and will sometimes be furry to better detect pheromones. Some better names for Past Swords would be like Rumbling Boulder for Terrakion, Cruel Cobalt for Cobalion, and Verdant Blade for Virizion. Terrakion's should be obvious as a rock type, Cobalt is the metal that Cobalion is named after, and Verdant is an adjective describing a lush and healthy area filled with plant life, relating to Virizion's Grass typing. I will say I appreciate the idea of drawing more attention to the fact the three Beasts are Cats and not dogs. I can kinda give people a pass on Entei, since it's the least obvious of the three, but Raikou is clearly a saber tooth tiger, and Suicune looks more like a leopard than any dog I've ever heard of.

Dude these look great! I think part of the reason why Past Paradoxes work so well is because there’s more to work off of than just “Make it a Robot.” That being said since making Past Paradoxes into Future Paradoxes is the next logical jump, I hope you can be creative with it. There are much more speculations about the Future than just technology. These forms could easily dive into something organic like a Specitive Evolution or some sort of Apocalyptic Mutation. Heck, even Carcinisation could turn Magneton into a Crab! Something that’s more creative than “Just a Robot!”

I really like Hydreigon's Paradox form - the intertwined head and more Sauropod build makes me believe it was once a peaceful herbivore that needed to maintain constant awareness in order to keep itself safe, one head would always be awake on the lookout for danger. As niches in the ecosystem began to open up allowing Pokemon to adapt into said niches, Hydreigon became more carnivorous, gradually unwinding its heads so that they could focus more on attacking prey and manipulating objects.
@ashleycurzon634823 сағат бұрын
Also one dex entry for hydreigon states that it used to be a peaceful pokemon but gradually was forced to become more aggressive over time for self defence because other pokemon kept picking on them, so that could play into this forms story

I think the vast majority of people agree that the reason the past paradox forms are more popular is because they're much more creative. The future paradox forms are literally just robots, which got very old very quickly. Future shouldn't have solely meant robot, it should've looked at maybe some sort of climate change aspect and given us something that is a fire-type right now that becomes a ground or ice-type in the future to adapt to their new environment.

I wish that the paradox Pokemon got special abilities instead of just slapping on protosynthesis or quark drive, or at minimum got a hidden ability to bring some variety. Little opinion: a small detail, apart from the fact that all the past Paradoxes have yellow eyes, when we had the Paradox forms of Volcarona we can see that they took a type for each form, one with the fire type, another with the bug type, so another possible type for your designs are Dark-Flying and Dark-Poison for the first ones. My friends and I had a discussion on future paradoxes being a chance to show how the world changes. Adapting to more caustic environments in some areas, and terrain changes, and even just natural selection changing preferences on which feature was better. Basically, how do we not make (rather generic in some cases) robot versions, and instead make designs that use worldbuilding. The idea sprang from how Iron Valiant was this hybrid form that either meant the evolution tree converged, or one side just took on features of the other to become the dominant species. Now, there could still be robot versions in here, say a species that was crucial to the world went extinct, and got replaced.

Whenever you chose a darker green Tropical Slime (Based of Baja Blast) or a lighter green Rampaging Ringo (Based of Thrashed Apple), no one really knows what Iron Gamer is here for. But what we do know is that its made by video gaming developers just to serve as a mascot. And according to a paranormal magazine, Iron Gamer's own signature Electric Terrain is not only digital green. But regularly has the neon scepter (Based of a Playstation Move Motion Controller) to create a random move or summon a random Pokemon made out of green sludge and electrical blocks. Geez....... Straighting out of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid much?!

The fact that Iron Moth is a solar panel array, a Xenomorph-esque alien invader, a living pollutant, and a mechanized Volcarona all at once? That's amazing! And Slither Wing is... Volcarona but a lizard... OK. Yeah. Alright. And it's a Fighting-Type because...? Visually, no, I don't think the "angry and hairy" filter is more interesting than the "mechanization" filter. Both are blanket filters applied to the base 'mon, but the "mechanized" aesthetic is just nicer to look at. I mean... c'mon. Scream Tail visibly sucks, Brute Bonnet is the most boring thing I've witnessed in my life, Slither Wing makes no sense, Great Tusk is blatantly trying too hard, and Roaring Moon just looks... Pained by its own existence. Yes the DLC ones are a little better, but they're still no match for the majestic Future Swords of Justice. I used to say I didn't dislike any Pokemon. I can't say that anymore, and my hatred has only been fueled as everyone other than me flocks to these awful Past Paradoxes.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, most of these don't fit past paradoxes. Good, because the official past paradoxes are overrated and they suck.
