The battle against the Androids could've easily gone very differently. With one small change, Trunks ends up regaining consciousness, joining Gohan in his last fight, but then meeting his demise. In one of my darker-toned scenarios, how will things change in a world where Future Gohan lives, while Future Trunks dies at the hands of the Androids? Is it odd that I think a sad undertone was necessary for the original Z series especially as we Learned about the various sayain transformations Especially going on the lines of Super Saiyan two it showed that an emotional raw connection was needed to attain those transformation and in which case I think I actually added to the overall story and theme of the story

​@@f10pped36 I think there could be a way to make both work. Basically, gohan would first get a mechanical arm, but it would keep breaking and having to be repaired. Until gohan gets good enough with ki control so he can infuse his ki into the mechanical arm to make it more potent. Ultimately, he would lose the arm in a battle and scoff it off, fully going with ki arm. I would use the arm as a reminder of gohan's failure to protect trunks and, as he accepts it more and more, one day he doesn't need it any more as he made peace with himself

@@davidcampos2615 You make a valid point, and I’m sure someone like Vegeta would have no qualms about it. Gohan would have seen the death of all his family and friends short of Bulma by the hands of androids however, which might put a small amount of resistance to the idea of having a mechanical arm for himself. Making himself part android after all that happened to him seems insulting to his character and the story as a whole, but that could just be me. Plus…you know…Dragonballs and their abuse is kind of a part of the story as well…Toriyama always seems the type to rely on magic before that poor genius of a woman.

So Gohan Beast is basically certain. In fact, I imagine he would transform into Gohan Beast amidst the universe tournaments (if those still happen without goku). Also, isnt goku still in the afterlife? I feel like he would have been allowed to travel there after becoming a god, ascending past the boundaries and laws of the world set for mortals.

In te video you did say "Gohan is surprised Vegeta has SSJ aswell" even tho Gohan should know Vegeta has SSJ since in the future timeline Vegeta went SSJ on the androids before the androids killed him. So Gohan shouldn't be surprised at all he would've prob told Vegeta that in the future timeline Vegeta unlocked SSJ aswell before Gohan even. And he could say that it however wasn't enough to beat androids which would give Vegeta more motivation to try and not only unlock SSJ but train and try to control it more. Which would lead to Vegeta prob getting SSJ earlier then before.

My idea for a what if: What if all of humanity was wished to be strong enough to defend itself from Goku? To me, this would happen before Dragonball Z began when Kami is training the young monkey boy into manhood. Goku would be bored since Kami isn’t the most proficient of fighters and the wish would be made by the young Saiyan rather flippantly. Because of how the eternal dragon grants wishes, all of humanity would be at the relative strength of Goku at that moment - for a number, say a power level of 600 or so. Nothing insane compared to a Saiyan, but insane compared to their initial strength. Because of the poor wording of the wish, humanity could also exploit Zenkai boosts through training and dangerous situations like Goku. This could severely alter the course of Dragonball Z from the first episode, make many of the Z fighters far more relevant, and be an especially potent thorn in the side of the Z fighters when Cell or Buu show up thanks to their ability to absorb others. What do you think? A what if that has far reaching implications and a wish that matters right up to and including Super! Best of all (to me), Her Ike doesn’t have to be a gag character and even Videl can be amazing!

I would still be on the if side of things to see if gohan would become a ssj2 after trunks died meaning because of time plausibility it would either make cell who travel back extremely strong like really strong enough that goku have to become ssj3. Now I wonder what would chichi see when she sees her boy gohan like this. She always believe there was a planet that exist after goku but seeing gohan who didn't train with his father ended up only having one hand and seeing how he has to struggle for the future or there won't be any future. I wonder if that would change her view on making gohan train.

I didn't like how quickly you finished off Cell, given the Cell-Gohan rivalry was one of the best events of DBZ. I understand how outmatched he is in this timeline but maybe you could've done some clever writing where Cell escapes, learns of the androids at Capsule Corp, breaks in and absorbs them. Then during the Cell Games, Gohan and Future Gohan finish him off together. Just felt Cell was highly undervalued here, given Gohan and everyone are just cleaning up enemies no sweat.

Probably a question of reach. A basic namekian like kami or dende most likely don't have the power to make their dragon balls work in another timeline. But, I don't see why they couldn't bring a namekian from the past into the future to make dragon balls, or send goku in the future to locate future namek and bring future dende to earth
