In this scenario we test out what would happen if Germany had the same population size (83 million) in WW2 as it have today. Will this larger population change the course of the war? AI will be set to semi historical, so most countries will follow historical paths, but some smaller countries might do more random stuff.

The explanation for these weird developments is the rigorous focus of the allies (and Soviets) on Germany. They ignore everything else and throw all their troops on Germany - mostly wasting their ressouces as well. How else can Japan conquer the UK, Spain and Italy while the allies hold all their troops in France?

Good point! The Allies was stuck on the frontlines against the Axis, and left their own territories heavily undefended. Japan was lucky to make a quick and well coordinated invasion (AI was pretty good here) and grabbed lots of important territories quickly.

Next video idea: What if India had remained united and gained independence while aligning with the Axis powers? I actually explored this scenario in Hearts of Iron IV (HOI4), and the outcome was quite intriguing, primarily due to India's substantial manpower when it remained independent. 😃

Interestingly Germany in 1939 only had a few million fewer people than today because of the difference in borders. I believe Germany in 1939 had about 80 million people give or take back then.

What if Germany was in Allies and the US was in Axis. Also, what if West Francia, East Francia, and Lothringia existed in 1936 with different ideologies for each country. Also, what if Scandinavia joined the Greater East Asia Coprosperity Sphere? Also, what if Middle East Countries (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Iran) joined the Greater East Asian Coprosperity Sphere. Finally, what if India was independent and joined the axis? Or what if we see Indonesia and Malaysia in Axis?
