I really like this What If, but you're heavily underestimating Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga. Remember that, originally, Goku with a power level of over 8,000 needed the Kaioken just to keep up with Vegeta, whose power level was about 18.000 iirc. Even with a rage boost, Gohan and Goten wouldn't be able to pummel him like you said, much less the rest of the Z Fighters making much of an impact. I also think that everyones powerlevel is quite exaggerated, especially considering that the only noteworthy powerlevel was Gokus in the original. Everyone else was pretty much toyed around with by Nappa... Goku's powerlevel should also be much lower, probably around the same level as Piccolo, as he didn't get any Zenkai boosts other than the one after fighting Raditz. (With is probably trivial since only his arm get beaten bad, I guess?) The part about Gohan and Goten turning into Oozarus while Vegeta's tail was cut off is pretty clever! Krillin doesn't know about Vegeta's fake moon technique, but he should remember how weakened Goku was when his tail was cut and how much he struggled to just walk in straight lines, so that's actually a genius move, even when the transformation isn't taken into consideration. I'm really interesed to know how you'll handle Planet Namek and Freezer now! No one besides the earthlings knows about the Dragon Balls at the moment, after all!

You’re wrong Vegeta’s power level was 18,000 and Goku’s base seemed to be slightly weaker only so 6,000 is much much weaker. Also, Goku never spared Vegeta to show him mercy, that was just funimation making Goku out to be a hero, the manga shows Goku spares him because he wants to fight him again someday

So having started this series a bit ago, so far, this seems spot on. Nappa would not have any chance of returning since he wasn’t killed by Vegeta, and without THAT factor, there’s no chance of him getting revenge and partially destroying the world. Without Vegeta going back to FP 419 (or the healing station where he recovered and learned about Frieza’s motives) the series would probably be cut short of the Cell Saga but not the Cyborgs/Androids emergence. This is due to Frieza discovering Namek on his own, having no mention of the dragonballs with Goku surviving, and finding out the secret of their race after killing the First DB protector. He would have played his moves more cautiously to obtain his immortality. After which, he would make his way to Earth and find that Vegeta lives alongside three other Saiyans, if he didn’t already attract the oblivious attention of Bulma by then, and slaughtered the planet when the Saiyans refused to work alongside him

In Part 1, after Goku survived the battle against Raditz, I knew that he would be weaker here than in the original story. I forgot about the intense gravity training on King Kai's planet. Goku wouldn't know Kao Ken and Spirit Bomb. I am happy that Salad Saiyan brought this up.

I feel like there's an opportunity here. Since Vegeta didn't get to escape & was soundly defeated, it's possible that the subject of controlling one's great ape form could come up. What if Gohan & Goten learned it was possible from talking to Vegeta & took that on as a sort of personal training? It'd be something entirely different mainstreaming control of the great ape form. It could even cause tails to be less likely to stop appearing. Any chance of SSJ4 is a good once. Also, when the Cell Saga comes around, Chichi has a daughter instead.

Since this is the first time both the twins had their Tails cut off, they should be regrown by the Namek or Future Trunks Saga, like how Gohan's tail grew back mid fight with Vegeta after it was removed by Piccolo in the early stages of his training. If their tails grow back in the Namek Saga, that will make things a whole lot more interesting in the Frieza fight, or if they grow back in the Future Trunks Saga, then they could learn to control the Great Ape Form in the 3 Years of Training.

I think in the next part Vegeta is gonna learn about the Dragon Balls and want to use it for immortality so he could exact revenge on the Z fighters. The team won't need to go to Namek again since Piccolo is alive, so I think the adventures on Earth would be Vegeta trying to kill the humans since he wouldn't be so friendly to actually be a Z fighter anymore. I actually think that a Frieza soldier may detect scouters being destroyed, Nappa and Raditz being killed on video or audio transmitted signals and possibly notify Frieza. They may have even ended up watching the battles and send a few soldiers to Earth to investigate. If that's the case Vegeta would be happy for their arrival, and also considering what he's probably learnt from the Earth they may actually take interest in the planet and its people. For example, Vegeta may tell them about Earth's Dragon Balls and how to suppress energy. Vegeta would still be loyal to Frieza at this point which makes things a lot different. So if they do manage to rescue Vegeta, Frieza may end up learning about the wish granting Dragon of Earth and visit to gain immortality for himself. So the next part should see the Frieza force visiting the Earth rather than how it is in the original.

It’s interesting. Vegeta is still going to get that power boost he got originally but now that he faced more then Gohan Goku Krillen And Yajerobe it’s actually a bigger power boost. Vegeta was originally around 18,000 I think and when you add up everyone’s power levels here the Z fighters would be 24,500. Vegeta ended up with a boost to 24,000 originally. So if I had to guess Vegeta after this could be around 30,000 maybe 36,000. Also Trunks now could be born a lot sooner then he was the first time around. That’s if he and Bulma get together

Vegeta tells Kakarot about Frieza... then him and his soldiers comes to earth since Nappa/Vegeta talked about the Dragonballs thru their scouters. They train in the time chamber in preparation. Frieza and co. finally arrives, Piccolo and etc. dies, Goku turns into a SSJ, wins and then they go to Namek to revive everyone.

Well I think it would be save to say that Vegeta would not like to being with people like Goku now that he was utterly defeated, but I'm sure against his pride he would warn them about Frieza feeling the need to do so since he alongside Goku, Gohan and Goten are the only Saiyans alive now. 2nd thing to factor is that Frieza doesnt know about the Dragon Balls meaning that he doesnt have a reason to go to Namek yet because of this...HOWEVER, you could say that Frieza would probably instead possibly go after Vegeta after not responding for quite some and also because he felt that Vegeta was planning revenge on him, knowing that the Saiyan depised him. 3rd, The humans would definitely want to join in more mainly because even though their combined efforts were enough to defeat Vegeta, I feel that they would still continue training for future enemies to come (Frieza, Cell, Buu etc.) Last thing is since Vegeta is there now and would probably tell them about Frieza, I believe the Gravity Room would be invented which would allow better training, mainly for Goku, Gohan, Goten and Vegeta which means having four Saiyans in a Gravity room means very good training combined with Goten and Gohan having been trained by both Goku and Piccolo, so if we could say...I'd say we'd be looking at almost Ginyu Force power levels for the Saiyans at least. Let me know whatcha think of my ideas for what could be possibly happen in Part 3. (BTW, probably should change the title to Part 2, it says Part 1.)

Although I find the overall plot of this part kinda cool, I think there were 2 weird and questionable executions. 1. Nappa is still fairly stronger than both Yamcha and Tien when working together, so Krillin having to join the fight would have made more sense. 2. Vegeta having a power level leagues above Krillin and have seen him used Solar Flare should have been able to dodge the powerball.
