Here is an Idea you could consider in the future at some point. What if Goku and Gohan both went Super Saiyan at the same time against Frieza. (Krillin killed being Goku's trigger to turn Super Saiyan and Gohan thinking Piccolo died for the second time been his trigger.)

Now that Frieza and King Cold are dead, there aren't members of the remaining Frieza Force that would be too much of a threat to Vegeta and Goku as of now. So I could see Goku and Vegeta traveling to Yardrat, training there, since Frieza didn't call in the Ginyu Force, they would've likely be on their canonical mission to Yardrat. Vegeta could probably take out the Ginyu Force all by himself while Goku recovers. This could be a nod to Vegeta's future training on Yardrat in the DBS manga. Maybe Goku can help depending on how fast he recovers. I could see Gohan and Goten training under King Kai again. I wonder what a future timeline of this of this what if would look like. It's too much of a missed opportunity to not give us Future Gohan and Goten in my opinion, I'd like to see that, it'd be cool.

here are some changes 1 : Goku knows all of his techniques from the start, including kaioken. 2 : Goku knows about his enemies too. 3 : Everyone is likely going to be creeped out. 4 : piccolo is taken care of easily. 5 : he wins the 22nd (maybe 21st as well) and knows where korin and kami are. 6: he trains much more intensely (Let's say that this takes place in a timeline where universe 7 loses to universe 11.) 7 : he will try to make as many allies as possible during this time. (he has a 30 year prep-time) 8 : he'll be much, much stronger. 9 : all of the saiyans are allies now. 10 : Goku knows that he is a Saiyan. Not an human. 11: Goku could try to control his ozarru form (Super Saiyan 4, anyone?)

2:35 I dunno, with the idea in mind that King Kai would only take 3 students, I would have at least sent Tien with Gohan and Goten, but it might be an idea to send only one of them to train with King Kai too. Gohan or Goten would be happy to teach the remaining brother and Goku what he learned from King Kai, and Tien might pass on the techniques to the other humans as well.

I hope you see this comment I love your what if’s and this my favorite one but there’s a mistake with future trunks arriving well at least with he knows if a change like this happened way back before the Saiyan saga then that would be the new OG timeline and trunks would know who Goten is and be a year older and be up to date on the events up till the Frieza saga or in this case the Frieza/Cold saga due to Bulma telling him so he should know about everything in this timeline like he did in the main series

In this What If, I could see Trunks taking action before the android attack happens in 3 years, since Goku, Vegeta, nor Gohan aren't around, and he's being born way earlier. The timelines are already divergent, so there's not much he can do about it now. I could see him tracking down Dr. Gero's lab with the help of Bulma, and the human Z-Fighters, maybe take on Android 19 and 20, create a shutdown device before the saiyans get wished back. Which could be bad news for Trunks, because if he doesn't train, he's gonna get attacked by Cell in his timeline.

King Kold does have a final form as the final form is really their base and the transformations were made to suppress their power so Kold does have it. Second, Kold’s 3rd form is 210,000,000 at minimum...? Let me show you something, King Kold’s character biography in Daizenshuu 7 says “Though he’s the head if the strongest family in the universe, he is somewhat inferior to Freeza.” it was also stated in an interview leading up to RoF that ‘[Freeza’s] whole family is strong, but he alone is especially strong” now take that into consideration and then consider that in Daizenshuu 7 Freeza’s power levels from Namek are also stated and in his final form at 50% his power level was 60,000,000 and at full power [100%], his power level was 120,000,000. So how could Kold’s power level in his THIRD FORM be at 210m+. Not to mention that Goten and Gohan were both at 10,000,000 at base and it they use the Kaioken x20 like you said, they’re pl should both be 200,000,000 so even if Kold was at 210,000,000, two craft Saiyans who are 200,000,000 should’ve been more than enough to take him on but instead they got casually beat down and killed right away like they’re nothing... I like this fic a lot but you’ve been pretty inaccurate a lot of times in this fic.

Well at this point with his power level and time period, the only one who could possibly stand up to Goku is Perfect Cell, and that's assuming Goku doesn't train for the 3 year gap between Trunks' arrival to the past and the Android Saga.

The surveillance drones are not deactivated nor destroyed, and there was no reason for Dr. Gero to deactivate them, as Goku continuously improved himself and didn't go off into space. Super Saiyan is still going to be a surprise though, unless Vegeta ended up mentioning the legend involving it and the drones caught that.
