Indeed… most resurrection Bardock stories or Gine survive stories I see go from 1-1,000/10 on the transformation scaling and that’s just wrong… I like how this one took a more horizontal rather than lateral growth approach for the most part

Bardock learning the Kaioken is probably one of the best things for him from a power standpoint. Being arguably more battle hardened than Goku, and more used to punching above his weight, the he has a lot of potential for growth, same with the Kaioken since it *theoretically* can be multiplied infinitely. It's still not something to be abused, something that a shrewd warrior like Bardock would know, but having a technique that grows as you do is always fun

These what ifs really make my day especially being uploaded almost daily. So a few months of of getting beat up by goten and a Uber kaioken of x50 is enough for bardock to land blows on paikkon someone l that can 1 shot an even stronger super perfect cell, going by the anime filler, he's DEFINITELY punching above his weight. I'm not complaining if anyone's wondering just find it entertaining plus the story's gotta progress. Can't wait for gine to hopefully get revived and meet everyone it's what if gine came to earth all over again.

I'm not sure if he's surpassed Goku in terms of raw power - and if he has, it's not by much - but in the most recent movie, Vegeta fought Goku in a sparring match (all out, but no transformations and no Ki-based attacks) and after several grueling hours he finally managed to beat him.
