Man, that Cell explosion though made me realize that Vegeta and Trunks stood no chance in truly defeating Cell even if Vegeta never had his cocky moment, even if Android 18 was shut down and he could not absorb her, that plan would have ended in the total destruction of earth because there would not have been anybody who could have handled Cell's backup plan. It's almost funny to say, but Vegeta unknowingly saved the earth with his stupidity. Cell was already desperate which is why he did everything he could to win Vegeta over to his persuasion, once persuasion was off the table, what do you think Cell would have done next?

Buu would most certainly be killed. There should be two scenarios for buus death. 1. Against fat buu, ssj3 goku uses it to separate the kais from buu, and then everything he destroyed, weakening him drastically. 2. against super buu with gotenks/gohan absorbed, dependent on the timing, buu is completely deconstructed. I don't see it doing much in super, maybe future goku gets his body back from black? thus meaning that the future is saved due to namekian dragon balls. if gohan learns it it could maybe reverse 73's copy ability. E : if gohan learns spirit fission before the buu arc and gets absorbed (which shouldn't happen due to buu getting most of his power from absorption) buu could separate a hypothetical vegito.

I like this what if, but I do have a couple of issues with it. 1# Even though cell said he could (PROBABLY) pull off the "spirit bom" I honestly doubt that he could because only someone who is "pure of heart" can use it and last I checked cell isn't pure whatsoever. 2# Goku wouldn't have died in this "What if" since the "z fighters" still have enough "sezu beans" to save him before he dies. Now if cell had aimed for Goku's head or had destroyed the "sezu beans" before they gave one to him then it would have been a different story all together. And thats all, I hope to see a second part of this "what if" in the distant future.

Honestly this makes so many fights so much easier, he said he could seperate piccolo and kami so could he seperate the kais from buu??? Gohan from buu??? Hell in the tournament of power he could just have all the nameks fuse into piccolo for the tournament because he could seperate them all after they win its such a hax move it has like infinite uses its so broken

Well cell wouldn't be a threat also Majin buu and merged zamasu
