Once you mentioned the gladiatorial arena, I knew Broly was coming.

Theories: Broly will summon a Red Lantern ring through his raw rage, and nearly kill everyone. However, and Indigo tribe Vegeta will arrive and offer an exchange. Broly’s immense compassion will allow him to break free and choose indigo, while Vegeta will gain the rage to attain his legendary form, of super Saiyan. Flying off to meet Kakarot, he will use the ring to unleash him as well, before destroying the ring, as proof that he will never again follow a master beyond his own mind and will. However, Vegeta will then depart the story, choosing to rejoin Broly in the Indigo Tribe, as he believes the serenity there can unlock a different legend. Much later, a super Saiyan god Vegeta will arrive to help save Kakarot from Darkseid, and offer to train with him so they can truly destroy him.

I personally think Broly may have some connection to the Red Entity - The Butcher - himself. Darkseid takes the place of Frieza regarding Vegeta's current servitude, so I think it's likely that another parallel will occur and Vegeta will be killed by Darkseid after he fights back on the side of Goku, and be brought back later - with the power of a White Lantern rather than the Dragon Balls of course.

My question is, who - if anyone - will be the Bulma to Vegeta in this world? We see from Goku and Shiva that it isn't a 1-to-1 equivalence, but she is a strong-willed martial artist woman. Likewise Vegeta's potential interest would probably still be a strong-willed, genius or highly intelligent woman. Possibly rich or at least well-off. ...Well after doing a quick Google it doesn't look like any DC women fit *all* of those criteria. But, She-Hulk seems like an interesting possibility. A bit of a departure from Bulma, as she's actually a fighter. But hey, Shiva's an assassin, so it's not like they aren't already making some similar changes. I also find it a little funny that she's 1 foot and 2 inches taller than Vegeta when she's green, but I could see an interesting character dynamic there. If it happened I could see them ending up in a loving but competitive relationship where the two constantly butt heads but know it's all in good fun. Come to think of it, then Trunks would end up having Gamma power. Hulklet Trunks would be kinda weird.

@Embodiment of destruction but that's the thing he had no personality, he was another villain made by the movies so Goku can defeat another strong villain until the end of the Saga, the fact that the reason why Broly is a villain is because of Goku crying as a baby it makes no sense and it ruin his character, Dragon Ball super Broly on the other hand is more than just a muscle man that wants to kill everyone calls himself "the devil" dbs broly is a tragic character. a character that you can relate with it because of the tragedy they had to go through, his tragedy is not really having a childhood and being abused by his father because of that damn shock collar and the fact that his father wanted him to kill Vegeta one of these days so when the Frieza Force found him and his father it made perfect sense for Broly to meet Goku and Vegeta rather than just his dad making a planet that's going to get hit by a star and also having a child that can destroy a whole galaxy but yet loses his mind like a damn animal kind like the other one the only difference is the other one is actually more enjoyable but I can respect your opinion.

His motivation for fighting Goku is virtually non existent and despite him having good dialogue in the first movie it faltered in the other two. His wasted potential was reworked with kale and the remake with dbs Broly actually gives the character redeeming features and makes him multi layered. He's not a rip off it's called a trope..it's a good change that makes him actually compelling more then just a rage demon with a faulty backstory

As well as Upa, and Eighter, the android who doesn't want to do bad, I'm really looking forward to all the character possibilities with this Dragon Ball twist thrown in, especially with Goku's natural naive, but charismatic nature, hard not to get along with him unless directly in your way, we have Lobo as an example, and I wonder if any other villain does at least hold some respect for Goku, kinda like plenty of the Flash's villains, though you can never go wrong with Goku making a friend in a fight, unless you're with Frieza, or most of the Red Ribbon Army.

Yep. This was awesome. This new saga is so compelling already. And again, you continue to blend the DC and DBZ so well. Of course Hawkgirl would have fallen to these Saiyans over her many lifetimes. Of course Larfleeze would have killed some before. AND Goku might be able to find out something about Super Saiyans from him. But Sweet Kami in the Lookout Brolly and what's about 90% sure to be the red lanturn ring? I can't think of anything else that would fit the saiyan of legend. You guys are amazing!

Yeah it makes sense Vegeta's imprisoned by the Amazons. Can't wait for the next episode! You should def keep to the formula of writing up the whole saga and releasing it in parts and then taking breaks. That helps prevent burn-out for you and for us, it's much easier to wait in between arcs rather than wait during the arc. Love this series so much! Keep up the great work man! Spoiler below- Damn I did not expect Broly to show up this early in the series. Between him and Vegeta, Kakarot's getting really outclassed really fast. They can't even fuse to take him down (unless DC has some kind of fusion technique that I've never heard of)
