Cause Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z Goku did care a lot about his friends, and his stupidity was mostly just due to having very little grasp on social norms. He otherwise had a brain, and was quick on taking up anything related to martial arts and also some survival skills. Super is just a special case, since they made him about as retarded as the Abridged Series..... But not as funny.

He spared them because he had already beaten them down at their best, bruising their egos, and was giving them a chance for redemption. Because he generally thinks that that killing is a waste and best avoided if it can be. You know, kinda like how most DC heroes dont kill their villains, including the likes of Joker. Goku just got a bit different approach to it.

@@arthurcosta1657 He kinda was back in Dragon Ball, saved quite a lot of people as he took down all kinds of bad guys from kidnappers, to abusive dictators and even evil demon kings (Piccolo wasnt the only one). Only in DBZ did he become less proactive in saving people directly, but he still takes down bad guys, and is the reason that the erased universes had a chance of coming back. Id say Goku is a hero, just not a conventional one.

When you brought up Goku fighting Lobo and them eating out together brings up an interesting concept. Instead of seeing Lobo as an enemy, unlike Superman, Goku would see Lobo as a good sparing partner and would become like frenemies, like with Vegeta, except with Vegeta always hating him. Here is how one of their meetings will go: Lobo: Alright, the main man is here for his pay! Goku: *waves at him* Hey Lobo! Here to fight me again? Lobo: Yup, another bounty was added on your head, Spikey Goku: Cool! Wanna grab some food afterwards?! I know this cool burger place! Loser pays for the meal? Lobo: *smirks as he takes out his shotgun hook* You're on!

Okay! Another rewatch! (Seriously, I love this XD) Announcer: Lex Luther, the most powerful man on earth! Goku: Neat! I'mma deck him in the snozz! Still, Master Chin helps Goku in a why become more 'mature' that the canon version. This entire scenario does Sure, he's less tied down without Chi-chi and Gohan, but he's much more socialized and personable. DBZ canon has a massive focus on solitary training and living, with Goku literally living in abandoned areas for almost all his life (lives considering his deaths). But this time he's around and taught be so many more people. And that one lesson that the ambition to be stronger than you are isn't bad would change so much and help him stay somehow still a loveable goof, but also this more social version of himself.

Two strong opposites, Batman is incredibly complicated as a person, a brooder, and an incredible tactictian with backup plan, after backup plan for almost any situation. Goku is a very simple man with simple motives, cheerful, very social, and his genius only shows during fights and not much else. I can see Goku unintentionally irritating Batman hardcore, and Batman confusing the hell out of Goku a lot. 😂

Goku in DC would likely roughly resemble a composite of Shazam (minus Wisdom of Solomon - outside of fighting) and Karate Kid/Val Armorr, at least in terms of character traits and abilities. That said, it would be interesting seeing how Akira Toriyama/Shueisha and DC do a crossover of Dragon Ball and Justice League (though would also be worth seeing a Batman/Lupin 3rd crossover).

I think there will be some romantic tension but I feel that marriage or a serious relationship is just not possible, one thing I liked about wonder woman is that she never gets married or is permanently bound by a serious relationship which I feels only constrains her character development. Moreover I feel annoyed that people think that having a romantic relation ship or marriage is the best way a relationship. In my opinion I think there will be a bit of a love triangle between Goku, Wonder Woman and Batman but I feel that Batman is a better choice for Diana.

Part 2 please. And I can see Metropolis becoming more eastern in design due to Goku's influence. Like the city has become a gaint dojo high among the clouds, being wide, open, and very spacious with semi domed sections and large pillars. Metropolis becomes known for more than just Goku but also for it's unique Asian temple architecture and design layout as well as being really good at clean up and repair work.

@@HiddenLord the place gets destroyed a lot because areas like Metropolis are some of the worst areas for Goku to fight. The city is too tightly packed together, resulting in the city being crippled every time Goku fights, he isn't very good at not destroying the surroundings. The other reason is marketing and self identity. The original Metropolis isn't all that special, it is just city number 200, a Metropolis to be sure but no identity of its own other than superman is there. Goku also strongly and quite clearly resembles the monkey king from Journey to the West which people are going to make the connection almost immediately and martial artists are going to be naturally drawn to Goku and Goku's personality and influence on other people. You put all this together and Metropolis is going to change greatly and most likely into something like what I suggested.

@UC1TMCuC1_sBMoRl-GT5um1A it's how Goku fights. He always unintentionally causes a lot of collateral damage and in a place like Metropolis which is immensely concentrated and packed together which is the worst kind of place for Goku to fight in. A stray punch or Ki blast cripples the city.

I love this idea. I wonder if the universe merge could be extended further. I don't know as much of the DC universe to know if beings like zeno or beerus could coexist with the other superior gods, but at least creatures like freeza, boo, hirudegarn, and other races could probably fit in (even if their influence would be diminished by other elements)

Loved this video! I hope if there is a continuation of this scenario you'll explore Goku's and the saiyan race's affect on the DC universe and the major past and future events in it! I'd love to see stuff such as Saiyans relation to rings and the lantern spectrum itself, as well as stuff such as the super Saiyan legend be explored too! If I had to critique anything though, I'd say that Saiyans would be far stronger than their regular counterparts and having alot more freedom and opponents, I believe that there would definitely be a chance of them becoming super saiyans earlier and more often. Also hoping Goku meets more heroes and even Gohan is born!

I loved how Goku's parents didn't even care if he lived or died in the original Bardock movie. Even from a chaotic background, Goku becomes a better person and a hero of his own galaxy. But they retconned it all in the new Broly movie! Now Goku is even more like Superman then before!

Remember, Goku is obsessed with fighting the strongest and will be set on getting the fight he wants. Superman will eventually cave, but likely not take the first fight seriously, and will end it quickly before Goku could get really hurt. That battle might end there, but Goku being Goku... will keep bouncing back for one fight after another as the years pass. At some point, Superman will come to like the fighting, watching his partner grow and improve so much after time - actually slowly giving Sups more and more of a fun challenge as well. But Sups will eventually learn that if he isn't careful, Goku will eventually come out on top.
