The only person to do this story idea well was Smugstick. All these other guys have terrible story planning and they also absolutely underestimate the amount of time a Million, Billion or Trillion years are. There would be no challenge. If Goku truly was immortal and trained for even a fraction of that time, there would be no story, he would be far too powerful for it to be worth telling.

Try this idea for a fun What If. What if just after defeating cell max Goku saw how undisciplined there two young boys are when there fighting they also rely to much on there fusion techniques. So both Goku & Vegeta take time off there own training so they can take there two young sons on a training adventure hitting almost everywhere they went to train. Goku takes Goten to king Kia’s planet. Then takes him to the other world tournament with the strongest in there universe go to fight. Vegeta takes Trunks to yardrat to go the the same techniques and then some others. Teaching them to control there energy and keep it inside there bodies. They train them in the time chamber the one on earth as well as in Whis staff. Then just like there dads went through Goku & Vegeta have a laugh sharing this moment together then they go up and try fighting Whis now using everything there fathers taught them
