I absolutely loved this, I've watched other Galactic Patrol Goku what ifs and this is the first one i've seen to still incorporate the arcs on earth. I'm curious how some of the events in this first part might affect the future in less obvious ways. like with Kami having such an open arrival, will some of the other soon to be Z-fighters get earlier training from him? during the search for the dragon balls did Goku still meet Chichi? even if a relationship might be hard to form with Goku's job. Honestly i'm super excited to see more of this version of Kakarot, they have a strong sense of justice and probably aren't as dumb, their combat experience is a bit behind but that will catch up but he still has his good heart to try and reform people. maybe not for a good fight but so they can also do justice!

This is easily one of my favorite Dragon Ball What Ifs. Got a similar sense of adventure as the original Dragon ball, but with a different kind of Super Hero vibe to it. Plus, since it is tied to more of Toriyama's stories, it even gets to explore elements that most What Ifs dont. Would certainly be more than excited to see more of this series!

While this is a scenario that has been done by others, I love what you have done here. First, nice change to the intro. Space Michael Bay, indeed. Second, Goku seems way more well-rounded here. Like another comment says, this Goku has a job, a strong ideology, and is responsible. If our Chi-Chi saw him, oh yea she would be happy. Speaking of Chi-Chi, I guess no family or relationship for this Goku? That's completely fine, because not every character has to be paired up. Piccolo being raised by Nail will be very interesting, since they're able to train together and get much stronger than in the original. Another Brother! Kami, after finding out he's a Namekian earlier, can do something interesting. Maybe visit Namek to see his planet and check on Piccolo. When Goku takes up Kami's training, why not have other Z-Fighters take it up as well? Another comment has a good idea, but you do as you see fits. Goku's Ultimate Move. The "YOU GO TO JAIL" button. Arnold Cashman is a great addition. With Merus in the picture, I wonder. Will the seeds of Ultra Instinct happen or nah? Based on this lengthy comment, it's very obvious I would love to see a part 2 to this.

The Police from Cashman do make an appearance in Chapter 27 'Life, Training and More' of the Super manga, so Jiora being part of this universe isn't too farfetched. And to answer your question, it's a tough pick between Yamcha or Broly. Broly because he would make the Galactic Patrol much stronger, plus Merus being there would help Broly focus his power towards good. And Yamcha because I can see him as being the cowboy cop to Jaco's straight cop. Jaco and Yamcha as buddy cops. That's my best idea.

this is a much better Goku than the canon one, organized, has a job, discplined etc..... I would like it if the others trained with Kami tho, I don't mean Goku won't train at all, like he'd learn Ki sensing and flying, but he's alawys distracted by his job, so Kami might bring the rest: Roshi, Tenshinhan, Krillin, and Yamcha, to make his training more beneficial.
