First of all Goten and Trunks obtaining God Ki from ether the Super Saiyan God ritual or training with Whis and achieving Ssj God would be a huge milestone for Goten and Trunks and it definitely would evolve their potential even further. Yes Goten and Trunks should get Ssj2 first before they obtain God Ki as well as get their own special transformations too before they achieve Ssj God, but after that, they definitely should obtain God Ki. Also Goten and Trunks could bring way more hype to Ssj God too. And for fans, I think a lot of fans would actually be very happy when Goten and Trunks do finally obtain God Ki and finally achieve Ssj God. Plus Goten and Trunks could also individually develop their own unique Ssj God forms too. Also after Goten and Trunks finally achieve Ssj2, why would Goten only just get Ssj2 while Trunks gets other cool forms and transformations? Both Goten and Trunks individually should both get new transformations and their own unique forms individually after they achieve Ssj2 so that way it’s fair to both of them and so Goten doesn’t get left out. Plus Goten needs his own unique transformation as well. Also if Ssj Rage actually comes back or even gets adapted into the manga and gets a better build up as well as an actual explanation for the form, Goten and Trunks should both get Ssj Rage individually as well as develop their own unique versions of Ssj Rage. I also think both Goten and Trunks should both have their potential unlocked by Elder Kai and get their own ultimate forms. Plus I would love to see Goten and Trunks following the God Ki route and having their potential unlocked by old Kai and combining God Ki with their potential unlocked states.
