I channel all those wonderful comments from my fellow WOTElings back to you! Also, I looked back as far as possible and could not find a cover from you of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" (Owimboway, Owimboway, etc) Have you done that one? If not, I think, of all the talent out there, no one could out-talent, out-play, out-grove, or out-fun WOTE on that cover. Let us know OK?

I loved it every cotton-picking minute of it period and I'm not so sure it was bluegrass but all I can say is it was wonderful. I'm an old rock and roller and a classic rock and roll music lover yeah that grew up on country music and bluegrass yet I learn to love all genres of music. I've even played drums and still play guitars to this day and at the age of 65 that has become difficult with arthritis. And there's nothing more enjoyable than listening to young people playing songs from the past and putting a new spin on it and giving their style to it. I love it. Can't wait to hear more.👍❤🎶🎼

It's crazy how pretty much every member in the band can masterfully play multiple instruments. Joel, who's normally the drummer, is playing the banjo in this video. Gianni, who's mostly on either the guitar or piano, is on the drums. And Tokyo.... well.... Tokyo seems to do just about anything and everything the band needs him to do. Crazy talent and a testament to just how much they really love their craft. 🔥❤️🙌🏼

That's actually not a banjo. It's a banjo body with a guitar fretboard and tuning. Traditional bluegrass banjo has 5 strings, and it's played in the Scruggs style. Joel is basically just playing a guitar that has a banjo resonance to it. Still talented, though.

It’s a testament to GNRs songwriting how many of their songs sound great acoustic. Personally love Steve M Seagulls version of November Rain.

This isn't the first time I've heard Gunners done bluegrass ... There's a band called Hayseed Dixie that does bluegrass covers of classic/modern rock, included amongst them is Paradise City. I do have to say, i was caught by surprise when I realised I was hearing Don't Cry. This was an unbelievable composition, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
