@@lorddoomer7271 It’s insane to me that everyone seems to just forget that Black Zetsu, speaking to White Zetsu, both of whom were very, very familiar with Kaguya, Madara, Obito, and Kamui, called Itachi INVINCIBLE. No one else in the entire history of the series is ever called this, especially by someone who has been around for the entirety of the existence of ninjutsu. Not current Naruto or Sasuke, Kaguya, Madara, nobody. Why do you think he was killed off with Tuberculosis or whatever illness he had? Itachi possessed two etherial weapons. He defeated Deidara, Kurenai, and Orochimaru without so much as having to move. He crushed a fully restored Nagato, who easily had the 8 and 9 tails in his grasp, while teaching Naruto and B valuable lessons. He defeated sage Kabuto, who had surpassed Orochimaru and was even beyond Obito’s ability to control, while simultaneously talking to and restoring his relationship with his brother. It’s absurd to think weak little Obito, who hid in the shadows and couldn’t do much besides become intangible, could defeat him. He couldn’t wield both Rinnegan like the fully restored Nagato Itachi wasted. He couldn’t even prevent a young Itachi from observing him for some time, confronting him, and using him to help wipe out the Uchiha. Sasuke had to use Orochimaru’s replica senjutsu aka cursemark to break through tsukuyomi. We have no reason to believe Obito could have broken out of it. Kakashi possessed Obito’s mangekyo and still knew he could be placed under an inescapable genjutsu, within seconds, while fighting an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi.

The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just an ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️

What many have forgotten is the very unpredictable factor of Itachi's fighting style, the way Itachi could beat Obito in my opinion is as follows: The Explosive Clone Tactic of Itachi, (he use this in Part 1 against Kakashi and Kurenai) which will be totally in character for him and obviously it won't kill Obito but definitely will damage him. I'll give you an exemple that was happening also in the anime itself: Remember that in the confrontation between Obito and Konan, Obito noticed Konan's explosive papers and said that he could react to them in time, cancel sucking and use Kamui to face through the explosion, but it didn't work and he was got caught in the explosion and he still was damaged after that. In Itachi's case he wouldn't notice that it's a clone until it's too late, and he already would get hit by the explosion of Itachi's Clone. Still I don't think that Obito will die only from that, I mean that will be very embarrassing lmao... xD but getting damaged? 100%. And we know Itachi that in character, If the fight is serious, he doesn't messing around. So after the explosion, he will use the moment/momentum while Obito is damaged, is surprised, is stunned, Itachi will immediately rush him and stab him, set him on fire or etc... Also another way Itachi could win is with his Tsukuyomi in my opinion. Yes yes, hear me out, Itachi make a clone, uses Tsukuyomi on Obito and controls the time in the way that he trapped Kakashi during the Part 1 in their encounter, (Tsukuyomi 1 second, but in Kakashi's mind perception that second lasted 72 hours, that will mean 3 full days) So the moment Itachi hits Obito with the Tsukuyomi, and Obito just thinks of to break the Tsukuyomi, Itachi's clone already killed Obito, because they will just stand there, and Itachi has full control on time in the Tsukuyomi Nightmare Realm. So yes, it's pretty much possible. I know that is unfair and disgusting for all of you Obito's bias fans. xD But it'a a power and a factor of the Tsukuyomi that people underestimate and keep forgeting about. xD ☯️

I don't know the extent of his wood style capabilities once he stops "wearing" Spiral Zetsu, he only uses wood style a couple of times in the war, and they pretty underwhelming. But yes, the regen he geta is pretty good.

For the Obito and Konan thing, Obito could have easily finished absorbing Konan but he wanted to keep her alive, since she was launching a suicidal attack meant to kill them both. This just proves how durable Obito is since he tanked an explosive attack head on that was meant to kill. You're definitely correct on Tsukyomi and Susanoo not working on Obito due to Kamui. But you're sort of underestimating how fast the Kamui absorption is. See, now Obito was able to Kamui inside of Onoki's particle style, grab Sasuke, and teleport back out without anyone noticing, almost instantaneously. We should wonder why Pain was taking direct orders from him. And that Obito reaction > Raikage speed > Amaterasu scaling is very accurate, and we could also take into consideration how much faster Sasuke's amaterasu could have been compared to Itachi. Since both of Sasuke's Mangekyou Sharingan are completely based on Amaterasu, I would expect it to be a little faster than Itachi's. Sure, Itachi has pretty decent Battle IQ. But other than fighting Nagato alongside Bee and Naruto, when has he really shown good feats of Battle IQ? Only time I recall alive akatsuki Itachi using Battle IQ was when he ran away from Jiraiya tbh. Going back to amaterasu, your point on Obito acting like the amaterasu was burning him in front of Sasuke is valid. Since there is no way Obito simply wouldn't be able to phase through it. He was just flexing his Izanagi. That goes to the statement where Obito says that he would be dead if Itachi didn't know all of his secrets... Obito is just flexing his Izanagi in his mind. Since we see Obito have thoughts that flex his strength on other occasions too. For example, when he thought he was sweating, but then he said, "No, it's just rain, these fools could never make me sweat." That's flexing in his mind. The yata mirror is cool until Obito just walks right through it. Obito could also make a forest behind Itachi and break through the Susanoo that way. Obito's fire style is also equal to Madara's so the AOE of that could work around the yata mirror and also break through the Susanoo from the back side. Totsuka blade is also cool until, you guessed it, Obito walks right through it. I'd say that Obito takes this fight 9.5 times out of 10, since Kishimoto could make up a random move at any point in time to make Itachi win. But that's if he just plainly wanted Itachi to win lol. It definitely would not be a long fight. You do not know how broken kamui is. Kamui is the reason kaguya was defeated. If kakashi didn’t have that sharingan, obito would’ve summoned the ten tails and solod bee naruto kakashi and guy. Itachis ydamir would easily get kamui along with the sword. I like itachi but obito rivals madara just because he has kamui and madara does not. Madara would probably still win against obito, but madara would have a hard time touching obito.

No sasuke actually broke tsukuyomi. Kishimoto stated in a databook that sasuke broke Itachi’s tsukuyomi using his visual prowess. Sasuke survived all of Itachi’s MS abilities despite everyone trying to pretend itachi just babysat that entire fight. We’ve actually literally never even seen itachi fight harder lol.

That's not a strategy, that's a tactic! Itachi was VERY good with tactics, but not so much strategy. Anyways, that wouldn't work, because obito can control where in the kamui dimension he teleports to. This is illustrated in the war arch where he teleports to various different sized platforms in the kamui dimension that are no where near one another. Anyways, this means he can put itachi somewhere far away in the kamui dimension, then just use a different spot somewhere else to do his normal phasing. Also he can eject itachi out the kamui dimension at any time he wants, so he can literally just setup a sealing formation, or a ton of paper bombs or something, and then just drop itachi into it, killing him instantly.

The eyes are likely synced, so if he sets his kamui to go somewhere else in the kamui dimension, then its possible kakashi's eye would automatically connect to that same place as well. 2. Even if they ARNT Synced, the jig was up! They figured out how kamui worked, and Madara was on Obito's ass, while he stil, had a seal on his heart! He likely just went "ahh fuck it! Let's just move on to the next step, and see if I can get Kakashi to remove this seal from my heart." But 1 thing we CAN say for absolute certain, is that they eye, CAN teleport you to different areas in the kamui dimension. This can be see when: - Obito takes Sasuke and Karin there before the war. Sasuke and Karin are each shown on 2 small platforms near each other. - In the fight with kakashi, guy and naruto, we see Obito's body on a more medium sized platform. - Obito vs kakashi we see them on a MASSIVE platform, which is more convenient for the big fight that's about to take place. - Later on the scrabble for the eyes vs madara we see, I believe it was sakura and 1 or 2 others, on smaller platforms again. Clearly the platform sizes seem to change based on convenience! When he want to put someone else in the kamui dimension, it's almost always on a tiny ass platform, where they have little room to move around on. When we see him phasing, it's on a much bigger "medium-size" platform, probably so that he doenst have to worry about his body bumping into things in the kamui dimension. And in the kakashi fight, a large area was needed to conduct the fight, so an absolutely massive platform is seen, with smaller platforms lining its sides.

I agree with your analysis. Orange Mask Obito is extremely overhyped in terms of his power. His encounters with Fuu/Torune and Konan are pretty indicative that, while Kamui is a pretty insane defense, his vulnerability going on the offense is not to be underestimated. Itachi’s intelligence with his clones and hacks could maybe be able to exploit that vulnerability. I’d say they’re more relative to the point that both knew that they both stood a chance of dying in combat if they fought. (Though I think Obito is aware enough to know if Itachi had full knowledge and planned accordingly, he could come up with a plot to end Obito which is what that one panel confirms.)

To be fair he dealt with Fuu and tourne pretty easily and quickly. The only reason why konan had so much success against obito is because she knew his abilities and she had prepared attacks in advance. Also we never saw orange mask obito go all out. Minato who fought a 14 year old obito said that version was stronger then the pain Naruto fought. I don’t see itachi able to do much to beat adult orange mask Obito. The fact is Itachi would prolly end up running out of Stamina trying to hit Obito, if KCM 2 naruto (the fastest character in The show at that point) , Killer B, Guy some of the fastest characters in the shows along with Kakashi one of the smartest characters in the show could barely touch obito, itachi has no chance. And the only reason they touched him was because Kakashi had a natural counter to Kamui and even then they struggled to touch him. When obito made those statements about itachi one it wasn’t he thought itachi could kill him it is just it would cause him a lot of issues and effect his plans if he attacked Konoha. The second point is Itachi didn’t know Obito’s abilities hence Obito said “if Itachi knew” because if itachi knew of that ability he would of implanted another suprise attack on sasuke that would kill Obito.

Obito is way too wary of Itachi, Obito knew of Itachi's illness and he would just drag out the fight with kamui and a possible izanagi. He was 1v4ing Kcm Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi and was only touched bc of Kakashi's Kamui. I don't think people realize there is quite literally nothing Itachi has that could hurt Obito. Genjustu is out because A) Obito knows how Itachi's genjutsu works and its unlikely he would be caught by it to begin with and B) Itachi states other strong sharingan Uchihas can break out of it (which Obito was able to place the entire nine tails under genjutsu at age 14 so I think he's more than skilled enough), Yata mirror can be countered by truth seeking orbs, phasing through it, or by simply walking behind the guy since it isn't omnidirectional, Totsuka blade gets kamui'ed, and amaterasu has been evaded by multiple people throughout the series (or Obito can just face tank it like before and proceed to laugh about it). If all that fails Obito can just wait for Itachi to fall over and die due to a lack of stamina. Obito can casually give Itachi a pat on the back, add Kamui, and theres nothing the guy can do to escape it.

It was a very good video, Dygo! 🙏 Finally someone used the explosive clone tactic for Itachi, which would be totally in character for him and obviously it won't kill Obito, but definitely would damage him. Remember that Obito noticed Konan's explosive papers and said he could react to them in time, cancel sucking and use Kamui to face through the explosion. And he still was damaged! He wouldn't notice that it's a clone, until it's too late and already got hit by the explosion. Still, I don't think Obito would die to that, that would be horrible, lmao. But getting damaged? 100%. And we know Itachi that in character, if the fight is serious, he doesn't fuck around. After the explosion, he wouldn't wait, he would use the moment while Obito is damaged, is surprised, is stunned and immediately rush him and stab him, set him on fire, etc. Also, one other way Itachi could win is with Tsukuyoumi. Yes, yes, hear me out. Itachi makes a clone, uses Tsukuyoumi on Obito and controls the time the way that IN the Tsukuyoumi 1 second is 1 year IRL. So the moment Itachi hits Obito with Tsukuyoumi and Obito just THINKS of to break the Tsukuyoumi, Itachi's clone already killed Obito, because they would just stand there. Itachi has full control on time in the Tsukuyoumi, so yes, it's possible. I know, it's disgusting, but it's a power of the Tsukuyoumi that people don't use. But I actually agree with your conclusion, 3/10 for Itachi is fair. I would say 4/10 too because of the Tsukuyoumi argument. Naruto notes nagato is going all out only after his eyes change color, and he loses the ability to talk. At which point nagato goes from not causing bee and naruto much issues, to taking them both out within seconds. Until that point no one was going all out, they were all as chill as they could possibly be. However once they are being serious, the only one that can keep up with nagato is itachi. It makes perfect sense for itachi to be stronger in every sense than KCM 1 naruto. He is relative if not stronger than EMS sasuke who at that point is closer to KCM 2 naruto which is a whole other beast.

I have some doubts on Amaterasu one shoting Kurama, considering half power Kurama is able to grant its Jinchuriki the ability to peel off amaterasu , I see no reason why he himself couldn't afterall he's fully composed of chakra. Also we're shown that Kurama has Fire element in him and can make his entire body of fire in lesser tails , so maybe he'd originally have some resistance (maybe even immunity) to fire based jutsus like Amaterasu. The peeling off is done through the Chakra cloak. I think the Amaterasu would just hit the kyuubi like it hit the 8 tails when Sasuke used it. I don't think there would be any type of resistance against amaterasu regardless of the chakra nature, because Amaterasu literally burned fire away

For me Itachi is one of the most Unique characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just an ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️

As much as people like to bring up the argument of Obito being vary of Itachi, everybody forgets another instance where kabuto summons the entire akatsuki as edo (except kisame, Konan and hidan) and Obito laughed at that. Which means orange mask Obito was confident enough that he could take on the entire akatsuki and sage kabuto at the same time and still walk out without much harm. And it's funny how u say Itachi is as fast as Obito coz Naruto barely had a small taijutsu exchange with Itachi which barely even lasted for a minute. Such a small exchange can't be used to classify any stat about anybody. Coz if that was the case then KCM 1 Naruto had way way longer battles with opponents like white zetsu and other reanimated shinobi which lasted for way way longer than his fight with edo Itachi. So now u telling me edo Itachi is as strong as a bunch white zetsu? That's totally cap 🧢. Plus many people overlook how Obito fights Kakashi, Guy, bee and Naruto in the war arc. Just because he has a rinnegan at that point of time, it doesn't change anything much. He still uses Kamui all the way to hold all 4 of them back. And I really don't see prime healthy Itachi beating even 1 of those 4 guys in a 1v1. And as far as Amaterasu goes, Obitos as a 14yr old was able to react to Minatos top speed. We see people like hebi Sasuke and Gaaras sand shield react to Amaterasu. Remember that kid Lee with his 4th gate was way way faster than Gaaras sand shield. So putting up a speed scale it would be like Amaterasu < Gaaras sand shield < 4th gate Lee < hebi Sasuke

Obito uses a time space ninjutsu and can pop out from anywhere anytime. Not even sensory types can sense stuff coming from other dimensions. Itachi ain't no sensory type at all. So I don't see how Itachi would even know where obito would pop out from. Plus the crow substitution are just a form of genjutsu. Every time he uses the crow substitution, it's shown to be casting a genjutsu. Ain't no genjutsu works on obito man. And it doesn't matter whether Itachi broke out of obitos genjutsu or not at the age of 8. Coz this ain't gonna be a genjutsu battle. And nah Itachi didn't force obito to retreat. Just read the Itachi hiden novel. Obito killed itachis teammate right infront of Itachi and Itachi could do absolutely nothing. Obito then goes on to kill the people Itachi and his team were escorting which was his main aim. And Itachi could again do absolutely nothing. Itachi barely survived that encounter because obito chose to not kill him. That's it.

Plus, Obito said no one was in his way now to attack Konoha after Itachi died. This fight could go either way, but for me Itachi has slightly better chances because of his calmness, intelligence and battle IQ experience. As I said before, their encounter could go either way, Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, Itachi himself and even Naruto himself they warned Killer Bee and told him to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Sasuke only use a generic genjutsu against Bee, Itachi is the only person that can use Tsukuyomi. Killer Bee was trapped in a generic genjutsu under the Mangeyou Sharingan. Danzo: even says to Sasuke during their fight that Sasuke's genjutsu “is a far cry” from Itachi's Tsukuyomi. Due to this, we were never shown if a Jinchuriki could escape an “inescapable” genjutsu like Tsukuyomi. The only known ways to escape Tsukuyomi is to cut off your eyesight or use another extremely strong Sharingan like the Mangeyou, even so the escape rate it's very low when Tsukuyomi it's used at his fullest. I think a Jinchuriki can't escape the Tsukuyomi. A Jinchuriki can break out most types of genjutsu because of their respective tailed beast ability to restart their chakra flow of their host. This restart is not instantaneous ,it takes a couple of minutes. Tsukuyomi can most probably be broken by a Perfect Jinchuriki, but there is no point as Itachi can put the victim through a 3 day torture within a second or a couple of seconds. Breaking the chakra flow to the user takes time, as Bee took some time to recover from sasuke's generic Mangekyou Sharingan genjutsu and again took some time to recover from Itachi's basic genjutsu. (during the encounter of Edo Itachi and Nagato vs Naruto and Bee) - Watch Itachi and Nagato Vs Bee and Naruto episodes again, Naruto himself warns Killer Bee in both manga and anime: KCM Naruto's words: " He's using the Mangekyo Sharingan. Uncle Bee, be careful! If you get hit by Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu it's over!" Tsukuyomi will last only for a second and the jinchuriki would have been exposed to 72 hours - 3 full days of torture and mental exhaustion. Even though a tailed beast can heal physical wounds he cannot heal mental trauma. Naruto or Bee would drop after a second before the tailed beast has time to break the chakra flow. The problem most people miss is that Tsukuyomi has no actual duration it ends the moment it begins. There is literally no way to cancel it or break free of it. Itachi could make that single instant appear to last for 80 years, but it doesn’t change the fact no significant amount of time actually passed. So by the time someone is aware of the fact they are trapped in Tsukuyomi it’s already done. (Also, the following is from the manga or light novel….“Itachi approached Izumi and placed her in an extremely powerful Tsukuyomi where she lived the entirety of her life in 0.000000001 billionths of a second. In her dream, she became a chūnin, retired from shinobi life to become Itachi's wife and raise their children, and lived to become eighty years old before dying of old age alongside Itachi. Because her mind was departed from reality in such a manner, Izumi collapsed into Itachi’s arms dying. Izumi thanked Itachi for giving her the life she wanted with him, even if it was a dream, and Itachi thanked her for loving him as she passed away.”) Kamui isn't an instant win against someone like Itachi because he isn't just any ordinary Shinobi. (Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story) his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Itachi is pretty good/exceptional at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time, even If the opposite opponent is an Uchiha. By using kamui, Obito can literally transport behind Itachi and suck him into the kamui dimension and leave him there to die of starvation or thirst lol Itachi wouldn’t be able to touch him, even the raikage couldn’t touch him with his speed and he’s waaay faster than Itachi. His tsukuyomi wouldn’t work either because Obito could just break out of it because to break out of the tsukuyomi, you need to be an Uchiha with a strong sharingan and obviously Obito has a strong sharingan since he has the mangekyo. Amaterasu won’t work either, Obito can just use kamui to get it off of him or away from it, and Susanoo wouldn’t work since Obito can summon the gedo statue to fight it. And even if Itachi was able to damage Obito, he could just use izanagi lol

Itachi gets beaten by Ten Ten easily, he's such a weak and inconsistent character. In order to beat Obito he would need the thickest of plot armors and rinnegan, plus hashirama cells, plus ten tails, plus byakugan, plus he would need karma, and he would also need jougan and Uzumaki blood line to defeat him, or even Ten Ten as I said for that matter. His feats are so low that part 1 Sakura claps him 100 - 0 easily every time. The guy could get killed by a single shrunken easily because he wouldn't know how to counter it or move out of the way.
