Jim's dad was a Merchant Navy Captain...he spent part of his childhood in Australia and when the family came back to Mumbai he studied at American school of Bombay where many students are children of foreign diplomats and foreign nationals working in Mumbai.He then went to college at Emory University in Atlanta,USA and then worked for several years as theatre actor in USA. Staying abroad during childhood, studying in a international school then going to college in USA and living and working there for quite sometime will naturally make u more westernised in terms of lifestyle, language and socio-cultural behaviour...What do u expect him to be honestly?...And by the way he is a Parsi who always have been more attuned to western influence especially in terms of speaking English as a household medium of communication.
