Technically Vader is still awake inside the Carbonite. His suit is supposed to be self contained life support like a scuba suit. So when the Carbonite froze, it only froze his suit&not his body. So Vader likely died inside after the power ran out of his suit. At some point he would had woken up after being frozen and likely screaming but can't as his vocalizer doesn't work. So by the time Vader's been passed around, it's likely he's already dead.

I absolutely enjoy the fact that Darth Vader had suffered such an eternal form of imprisonment in this Alternate Timeline, as he did deserve it for all of the countless innocents that he had slain. But even if he would have been somehow freed from his imprisonment, Darth Vader would have been in even poorer health than he had already been since he would have suffered the pretty obvious consequences of him having been freed from his imprisonment.

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Lando freezing Vader on Bespin getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Lando did froze Vader…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of his character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Lando having a cunning moment getting shown some love, since he usually never gets the chance to do crazy stunt llike this (more than usual) that much and it was a nice change of pace to see him take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Lando get that opportunity to help out his friends as well as having a role in aiding to help prevent certain events from happening…afterall it was nice to see him have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action he could take, so it was nice to see him come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since he knows that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Lando truly is…also this was definitely something Lando would do. Also I think Lando genuinely wanted what was best for Han and his friends and was just looking out for them since he knew they would have each other’s back…he’s just such a chill guy. Also Lando is one of my favourite characters from SW and it’s nice to see you include him in such an amazing ‘what if’ story like this and give him the love and respect he deserved. I also loved that light my bricks/lego sponsor/add mention…I love Legos a lot and it fun to see you show this amazing product some love. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

Edit: On a more serious note, that is a very interesting "what if" scenario you proposed. Like...does Palpatine act completely different, maybe even have to skip his prior plans, or does he still go forward with it. If Palpatine still sticks with the script, what does Padme do during that, or maybe afterwards with Anakin? Hell, does Palpatine telling the story if Padme is still there cause Padme to realize or at least suspect that Palpatine is Darth Sidious? Either way, does Padme maybe go to the Jedi Council or at least Obi-Wan about her realization or suspicion, or maybe talk Anakin into doing so instead, and how does any of that play out?

I'm not going to lie, the lack of Padme definitely did not hurt things. 😉 It feels like Lando is a criminally underrated Star Wars character who would have benefited if both Empire and Return came out 10 years later respectively. Damn, Lando strikes once more, and boy did he hit gold this time, this fortune will certainly last far longer than he could have dreamed of. Despite the war lasting so much longer than in canon I do believe it did some good in truly getting most of the Galaxy to fully lose any faith in the Empire and subscribe to the New Republic. I really did enjoy that it was the people who killed Palpatine this time, it fits best with the way things went. Vader getting passed around like a hot potato then getting lost and buried in the cold depths of Illum (and oh, the irony of his tomb being there of all places) was quite the grim end for him, not that many would say it wasn't deserved. I do wonder if he's alive in there or not, the insulation of his suit might have for once played against him by protecting him from the carbonite, in which case he probably died sometime during the passes either by suffocation or starvation. He probably hates that Sebulba made a return. Funny how Luke and Leia ultimately never learn Vader's identity and remain believing he was just Anakin's killer, which ironically will probably help them a lot more here since everyone would only ever see them as the children of a hero of the fallen Republic. What if instead of Leia, Han fell in love with Luke? I'm actually curious how the OG trilogy would go if Luke being in love was also a factor, specially when it comes to how Obi Wan and Yoda might react to that, or if Vader or Sidious might try to use that to their advantage.

I still think, if Vader took a long look at Leia, he’d see & think Padme, but she’s an Organa, right? So he & and Tarkin discover she is the daughter of Anakin Skywalker (in speech, Anakin & Vader are two separate people, but Tarkin is one of the few who knew him beforehand) therefore in front of Leia, Tarkin says to Vader: “you are correct lord Vader. She is indeed the child of Anakin Skywalker” So Vader allows Tarkin to destroy Alderaan, for stealing his child from him. Meanwhile on Tatooine, the Lars and Skywalker last name should be clearly defined. The audience knows there are two children, but no one knows they are twins, except those 3. When Luke, Chewie & Han rescue her on the DS, and Luke says “I’m Luke. I’m here to rescue you” Obi-wan, when he sees the two of them together running towards the ship, feels his work is done, and decides to ghost himself. This would also freak Vader out and distract them as they get away. By the end of the movie, they know they are bro & sis. But not who their father Anakin Skywalker has become. During his communique with Palps, the two of them compare notes and realize there are twins. Soon Palps starts thinking of the Dyad and the hunt for both of them. Luke still goes to Yoda, but for insurance reasons, they must separate. Leia goes to find another Jedi master but in lieu of that master, Vader is standing there. And go from there.😊
