I have a theory: "What if Anakin never actually joined Sidious or the dark side?". Basicaly, Anakin does not do as he is told to, but Sidious is complitly unaware of it. Kill anyone inside the Jedi Temple? No, Anakin evacuates them. Kill the Separatist Leaders? He negotiates with them a deal where they would instead go into hiding and come out as leading figures of an eventual uprising against the empire. Of course, he does eventually "join" Sidious and he does go on missions and he does complete them, but he fabricates the results until he starts his uprising or joins one along side anyone loyal to him. This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Luke time travelling to the Clone Wars and being trained by Anakin getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Luke did time travelling to the past to be trained by Anakin…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of their characters and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Luke help Anakin and Anakin training Luke in the most unorthodox way getting shown some love, since they usually never get the chance to do crazy stunts (at least more than usual) like this that much and it was a nice change of pace to see them take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Luke and Anakin get that opportunity to prevent a major event from happening…afterall it was nice to see them have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action they could take, so it was nice to see them come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since they know that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Anakin and Luke truly are…also this was definitely something Anakin and Luke would do. It was also nice to see these two have these nice moments with each other and get to enjoy their time together. It was also fun to see Luke genuinely care for Anakin and only wants his father to return to his former self. Also Luke and Anakin are two of my favourite SW characters ever and it’s always nice to see you include them together in an amazing ‘what if’ stories like this one. It was also nice to see yet another incredible Luke and Anakin adventure in this amazing ‘what if’ story. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

This story definitely makes the most sense to me. In the EU Luke Skywalker was a lot like his mother and his sister was more like Anakin. Luke saw the good in Anakin. He saw the pain and suffering and hardships of war not only on the Rebellion, the galaxy, and his fellow Jedi survivors, but also on his own father. He used his compassion and love for Anakin to save him, just as Padme tried to do. In the end Luke Skywalker became a true Jedi Master. I feel his experiences would definitely come in handy if he had gone back to help Anakin. 😊

Time travel is tricky. Luke Skywalker was raised on Tatooine in timeline 1 or SW Prime. However, by traveling into the past SW Prime ceased to exist and was replaced by timeline 2 and Luke1 became a timeline orphan. When Luke1 traveled into the future he arrived in timeline2's future, where Luke2 had grown up on Naboo. There are now 2 Luke Skywalkers.

Luke had gone thru the proper dark side test on Dagobah's cave but Anakin didn't go thru that test. He had a lot more experience with the dark side and learned how not to be corrupted but also to use it. In the comics, Luke can use Force Lightning&counter it but later Electric Judgement. So Luke being immersed in the dark side won't damage him but actually empowers him too. In the Dark Empire comics, he learned dark side techniques from Palpatine&his collection of Sith holocrons but it didn't corrupt him. Other than the lightsaber dueling, Luke's more experienced in dealing with dark side force attacks. Kyle Katarn is a better lightsaber duelist than Luke since he a lot more trained darksiders are trying to kill Kyle while Luke ended up dueling with a lot of noobs and gained a lot of experience from it. As for the lightside technique that Anakin's been looking for to save Padme, that's been around and one of the earliest force techniques that the Jeedai had learned on Tython. Luke already knows that technique to be the life energy anchor for another life. So Luke could had easily taught Anakin this force technique.

Luke wouldn’t know this but him just being there already is changing the timeline. His saving people, training with Anakin (means Ahsoka gets another master), Luke’s interactions with Obiwan, and such. If it’s Luke and Anakin, they would easily defeat Dooku but would they kill him? Luke might want to just capture the unarmed Dooku for questioning which was against what Sidious wanted.
