And how that happened here was that it never happened because of Shadow using the Eclipse Cannon to blow the Black Comet up before the Black Arms can do any harm

Shadow just curb stomping the entire plot of his game like that due to he doesn't have amnesia this time just sums up how Shadow's game could have been resolved so much faster if either Shadow just asked the others about his past or if the others bothered to tell him. Yeah they didn't know about the whole Gerald's deal with Black Doom part but still.

I do admit I was skeptical of the series at first, but it really has grown on me. One suggestion, specifically once you get to this telling of the sonic rush games. Metal is struggling with all this rage and power inside him, and needs to find some example of how to master it, I believe Blaze The Cat would be an excellent example for him to take interest in, follow, and perhaps be mentored by. Blaze commands the Sol Flame within herself as well as the Sol Emeralds, a raging inferno capable of great destruction, and yet she uses it not only masterfully, but with an impressive level of grace as well as humility, in harmony and in a way dancing with her power when she unleashes it. Metal using the shapeshifting abilities gained from the metal commander and the bio data of chaos to create his own physical identity as part of this training from blaze would also be wonderful to see.
