Random generated buildings in vanilla are intentionally basic for optimization purposes, if you had giant epic builds everywhere (even if you could get them to generate reliably without bugging out) as default it would make the game lag for more average computers. There are tons of great builders for Minecraft, it's not that they're unwilling or unable to make better buildings, it's that they're main concern is making sure the game works right and is accessible.

In my single player testing world, I built a replica of a stronghold using the Minecraft wiki blueprints (they only list how to make the individual rooms, so I got to design it). It is well maintained, has a garden, and I'm planning on building a woodland mansion on top for the official entrance. Then I will need to put it in a not superflat world. The next challenge would be to make one in survival mode. Or at least modify an existing one in survival mode, seeing as you can't mine the portal frame in survival.

I really wish you worked for minecraft and developing builds like this to add to normal Minecraft. I stopped playing this game a long time ago along with many other OG players but if things like this were brought into normal minecraft I’m sure so many more people would come back to this game. Maybe even add its own game mode called “experimental”? E.g. survival, creative, experimental. So it wouldn’t disrupt online games like factions and if you didn’t like the change you could stick to regular survival. Just a thought:)

In a game where there's not a ton to do other than build, being able to explore to actually find cool structures would make it a lot more fun. There would only be a bit of lag as the terrain loads, then it would work as intended.

George Fleming Well, the cavern *might* work. It would have to be spawned significantly lower than it is right now, and they would probably have to rework the seeds so that it doesn’t spawn in a valley and become one massive oddly generated hole with a castle in it (though that could be pretty cool), or it spawns in an ocean and gets flooded, making it a pain in the ass to get into. The entrance bridge and the giant spider-webs would be a no-no if they made the cavern random though. There’s no way they could make that work without breaking something and making it look bad unless they made the whole cavern preset, which would cause problems with the seeds that I mentioned. The concept seems cool to me, honestly. I’d welcome it as a separate mode or world generation type like someone else on this thread suggested. Like, have a structure generator section of the world tab to be set to ether “simple/classic” or “complex”.

Hypixel has enough experienced builders in Minecraft, several of whom are arguably better than Jeracraft (and let's be real, just about everyone's better than Mojang so we don't need to bring them into the picture). ...and Hytale isn't even focused on a Minecraft engine so building in it would be incredibly different, anyway. ;)

@@dragmasanimation I did read part two, I found it quite funny or hilarious but if I were to actually try to figure out real statistics from the information given I would find none. The only thing I gained was theory and guessing and assuming. I also gained information that the people who are the smartest people in this field are fighting amongst each other in terms of what AI will come about and when. So no real estimates, and no information to support that the AI will even come about besides speculation that because there is rapid growth in tech there will continue to be rapid growth in tech because it is exponential. Like, no dude.

I LOVE the look of it! I love how dark, old, scary, mencing theme you gave the stronghold! I didn't really understand at first why you put giant spider webs there seeing as a stronghold is a place built to hide from something/someone. I don't really see how someone who wants to hide decides to build a stronghold and hide in a place with giant spiders that may be dangerous, but it turned out to look so EPIC! Who would not like to explore a place like that in minecraft?!
