@@ejwiksten3770 he has given his team a chance every time in the playoffs, yes, but to say he is nearly unbeatable is silly. First off, 2014 he gave up 2 runs, 1 earned, and lost that game against the giants. His team needed to give him run support and didn't, so ill give him that. In the next postseason series against the Cubs, he pitched well, giving up 2 runs but both unearned in game 1. You could blame no run support on the first start where he gave up the 2 runs, but you could use the same argument for the Cubs as they gave their pitcher little run support. 2019 he was down right great in the playoffs, but he was also given much more run support by clutch hitting. Like I said earlier, in game 5, Dodgers would have won if not for clutch hitting by Rendon and Soto in the 8th, as they got Stras with 3 runs. He pitched gems in game 2 of the NLDS and WS, I would say game 3 of the NLCS was as good but it was against a not good lineup in St Louis, so it was just a well pitched game. Game 2 of WS could have gone either way if Verlander could pitch in a World Series game. So while yes, Strasburg is good, he is not 2014 Mad Bum good. He is able to be gotten to, and all the Mets would need is to get 1 or maybe 2 runs, and hope Stroman and the defense can hold off Turner Soto and Bell. And then at that point, flip a coin for the winner

I play these March Madness tournaments all the time. What I do is take a notepad, draw a bracket, for standings I just look up a year like 2001 or something for the seeding stuff, take a quarter flip heads or tails, and I play like that until I run out of paper.

Its an interesting concept cause when you think about it, the skills gap between the worst and the best teams in the MLB is honestly much smaller than the gap between the worst and the best teams in the NCAA tournament. All that to say there’d be A LOT of upsets and it would be awesome if they actually did this to start the season lol.
