Couple things to point out. Firstly, make the Common Shellbeat water/steel (Making it unique from its cousins + the steel on the drums is the key feature on it unlike the other two), and Blow't normal/fairy (For lights/sound.) Then for Plinkajou, it'd make more sense having the ground/dragon type. (Bone related things are ground type in Pokémon, and the bones surrounding it like a gold pile, as well as a bulkier size, are reminiscent of dragon types.) Which gives both Incisaur forms the dragon type over rock type as well. And finally, add the Normal typing onto Flum Ox, as well as make Pong Ping Dragon/Normal because Normal is associated with sound and animals.

I think Bisonaurus should be normal/dragon and R. Bisonaurus normal/ice. (Note ive never played any pokemon games ever so this is probably wrong but still i think it fits better) also, we have 2 new quads as of now, so i think pentumbra should be ghost/fairy, and venshun…. I dont know about Venshun honestly (Edit: steel/grass)

Hey, I just got an idea! How about the monster could be in different regions? Like, Kanto, Aloah, Galar, Kalos, and more! The monsters common, rare and epic versions could be a result of being a different form in each region!

Personally, I would swap Epic Shellbeat’s Fighting to Dragon, mainly because of it’s appearance and shellbeat bios typically mentioning folklore. I’d definitely change Rare tring to Rock Psychic since it’s bio describes it as a fortune teller. I’d also change Epic Tring to Rock Fairy for being very spiritual. I’d swap Plinkajou’s pure dark with pure ground, since the dark type is less about actual shadows but more about evilness, and the ground type is always the type that’s a stand-in for bones. Both Incisaur and Rare Incisaur… Dragon types. Rock doesnt make much sense, it doesnt even have earth in it’s element tree, and both of them are very dinosaur-like. The Ice and Poison typings make a lot of sense tho! Rare Flum Ox isn’t bad or anything but I’d say either Psychic Dark(Ik i said dark types are evil but this one would be cool 😅), or Psychic Fighting because of it’s bio comparing the flexible horns to muscles in humans. Pladdie should just be pure Fairy. No other reasons than it not looking like a steel type(even if it has tiny little steel cuffs) I’d make common Pong Ping Dragon Fighting for it’s love of sports, and same thing for rare PongPing. I would change Krillby to either pure Flying or(even though its over used) Flying Bug, since it’s not entirely bug-like, but cery crustacean and crustaceans are related to bugs. I’d also make it’s rare Dark Bug for it’s bio mentioning it’s very stealthy.
