The Uzumaki Clan. This is Naruto’s clan. Despite it being a powerful clan, known to have been distant cousins of the senju and some of Konoha’s greatest supporters, a clan so powerful they had their own personal hidden village, there have been painfully few Uzumaki seen in the series. This is because the entire village was wiped out at some point in the past, right after Kushina traveled to Konoha. Likely either toward the end of the Second Shinobi World War, or the beginning of the Third. Having their clan be Order 66’d, the remaining Uzumaki scattered to the wind, with the most notable members fleeing to Konoha, Ame, and Kusa. That being said, I cannot help but wonder what would have happened if Karin and Naruto were raised together as siblings.

If Karin is Naruto’s older sister but also a twin, this would’ve made a really interesting and heartwarming story. Character wise, Karin would’ve been a much more love and much well respected female character. In terms of story, Naruto’s childhood might not be too sad, since he always had someone close to him who really love him for who he is and someone who will protect him and give him warmth in bad times.
