Yeah but he could've gone harder with training, I mean shit he didn't even use the shadow clone training that jiraiya could've told Naruto about. It would've sped up all areas of training. He also didn't learn his elemental affinity until after he got back.

Jiraiya was just a shit teacher. Kakashi had Naruto grow more in weeks than Jiraiya in 2 5 years. Jiraiya was more like a father that gave Naruto a better life which may have also been needed somewhat but he had less growth than Sakura despite having shadow clones which would have allowed him to grow faster than Sasuke

@@shenshlong Yep, Kakashi just gave him the tools; shadow clone exploit, nature transformation explanation, tested his nature and got Yamato to suppress Kyuubi and provide the terrain. Asuma then gave him some tips in the anime. Naruto would have been better off training in Konoha then with Jiraiya.

Wind is literally THE BEST ELEMENT. Just think about for a minute. It is great for close , medium , and long ranged combat. For close range think of Naruto having a sword that can cut through just about anything that comes in contact with it or a wind style version of Chidori. For long range just look at the Sasuke retrieval arc where Temari cuts down multiple trees with ease to kill a Curse mark level 2 Tayuya . For medium you could just change certain attacks to wind style and your good.

@@triplexxx2174 In a few weeks training under Kakashi Naruto improved more than 2.5 years under Jiraiya. Kakashi taught Naruto how to train using shadow clones. How to better use them in battles. Taught him about the elements. Naruto's taijutsu, speed and more all improved in those weeks after training under Kakashi due to improving his chakra control. All the things Kakashi taught him were usable and actually useful in his fights. Jiraiya in that 3 years had Naruto going from beating the geniuses of his generation to getting shown up by fodder Sai and Sakura. Instead of training Naruto to be his disciple like Tsunade and Orochimaru did. Naruto learnt absolutely nothing from Jiraiya's talents. No fuinjutsu, no toad summoning related skills, no spy network formation or skills. No elemental training in Earth, fire and toad oil. No hair needle technique. Absolutely nothing. Consider that Naruto learnt the shadow clone technique in one night, he learnt the Rasengan in under a month. He could summon boss toads and somewhat control Kyuubi's chakra. He used shadow clones very creatively and could outwit jonin opponents. That was the talent Jiraiya had 2.5 years with and he fumbled the bag. Really it was that Kishimoto just hates to have Naruto grow more powerful on his own. With Naruto's learning rate plus shadow clones he should have been near base Jiraiya level easily. Kakashi got Naruto from chunin level to low s rank (facing Kakuzu) in weeks. I would have forgiven all of that if he taught Naruto a way of fighting sharingan and genjutsu users like Sasuke and Itachi but he didn't 😩
