Hey Amagi I got a what if idea. What if kaguya was reborn, like being the daughter of kushina and minato, cause I want to see a scenario how black zetsu will handle the situation because he can't revive kaguya since she's been reborn. But I was wondering, will kaguya still have the rinne sharingan or not since she doesn't have the ten tails. The "I can't make major changes" kind of MC is just a device to not have to think too hard and stay glued to canon. Or, rather, to try and put some leaves over how implausible canon's storyline being relevant is when the time travelled MC can squash it all by looking at it kinda funny. Might make sense if the MC's only tool is some knowledge, but, lol, lmao.

@@drippy_jerry oh just one change can have dramatically altering changes, and saving the lives of a whole clan (50-200 people), lives which were not in Naruto's base timeline would really change everything. Like Naruto's first mission to the bridge may not of ever happened, as those bandits may of been caught a year or so earlier and was still in prision or dead. Time is not something you want to mess with, just saving and/or taking one live can have major negitive effects. Take for example, you go back to save the life of a loved one who died a year or so ago, time will make it to where that person still dies no matter what you do. Since you going back in time is the resault of that person dieing, so if they never died you would never of gone back in time to save them in the first place.

Not necessarily, you have to think of it from hiruzen's point of view. What would you do if a 6 year old that you've essentially adopted (granted is a shitty parent but he's trying his best) pulled you aside and says "i reincarnated and this is how you should deal with specific political matters"? One thing I like about these regression or transmigration/reincarnation stories, where someone knows the future, is seeing how well made the original story is, and how intricately everything comes together. For example, the fact that Black Zetsu was always around scouting out threats and issues with the plan, how one battle or death originally caused so much growth or affected so much later on, and then having to not only recognize and understand that, but replicate those sort of intricacies against your own plot to try do things better. Because in the end, the setting, the characters, the world they are in is alive and dynamic.

Honestly his power could be some kind of cursed mark derivative connected to a demon or maybe he did something so horrible that the shinigami can't take his soul and so he can't die, that would be more interesting than a religion that is never expanded upon. Zabuza with a bit of speed training would kill Hidan by being just as aggressive, having the same reach, being impossible to track for Hidan and going for the head. Genjutsu would bamboozle Hidan like a baboon. If Itachi managed to make Orochimaru flee with a base sharingan genjutsu at 13, 20 YO Itachi no diffs Hidan without lifting a finger. The boss of the Sasuke retrieval arc, Kimimaro, in the pitiful state he was in at the time, would completely neg diff Hidan. Tenchi Bridge arc Sasuke pre-absorption of Orochimaru would low diff Hidan, speed blitz and eventually separate his body into parts so that he can't be put back together. Maybe that would kick start the Dragon Ball adventure in Naruto, where people try to find Hidan's body parts to put him back together and get a wish granted (a death wish). Or Sasuke could just neg diff with base sharingan at that point. Kakashi Kamui GG or if he used his skillset smartly he wouldn't even need kamui. Asuma going for the head and not falling into Hidan's 8 YO trap (that circle is so obvious) would win mid diff because Hidan hits hard and Asuma needs hien to chop him into pieces. Hidan doesn't deserve his spot in Akatsuki, he's a Saturday morning villain and not a threatening one unless the show is Teletubbies rated, any child with an understanding of ritual circles would scream to keep Hidan out of the circle. Hidan is a joke character and his powers are so limited in range and versatility that any jônin could beat him by disabling him instead of fighting him head on in melee range. Haku would trap him in his mirrors and stop him from moving with accupuncture and Zabuza would prepare him for dinner and feed him to the fish. Hidan is a non-threat to anyone with sufficient raw stats who doesn't play to his only strength. Doesn't help that Hidan has negative IQ.

I feel that a large portion of this story wouldn't go exactly the way that you think, but it is quite a well put together video. I don't believe Naruto would act as incompetent as he does instead I believe Sasuke would be much less competent, more arrogant, and have les battle IQ and awareness. Example: without the hatred and training that drove him originally, in a fight against Zabuza he'd be more afraid and probably wouldn't come up with something as clever as the demon wind shuriken trick, but I understand Sasuke wouldn't be completely incompetent as Itachi would have trained him since he was young. Either way though these are small things and it is all very interesting to think about as it is true that Naruto would try to avoid altering or revealing to much about the future in fear he would never be able to truly return to his original life.

I understand Naruto and Hiruzen are trying to be super careful with keeping the butterfly effect under control, but the moment he stopped the Uchiha massacre, he’s reached a point of no return. That’s tons of very capable shinobi that are now actively changing the future who would otherwise been dead. Something like Boruto and Himawari being born exactly as they should have been is really unlikely

The thing is, a reborn intact Naruto WOULD have already experienced those losses, so going through them again would be redundant. It wouldn't make him any better than he already had become. In this story, Fate itself has become an active participant character of a sort, rather than just a road map that could have alternate routes. I don't think that is necessary in such a story as this, or even necessarily desirable. You do this kind of story in particular because you DO want the outcomes to change.

Exactly. I really wanted to see the core story actually change. To see Naruto be really loose of the not changing things rule. No point in a video of him being reborn if barely anything truly changing.

Yeah that bit was kind of stupid since even if he didn't have the MS, Itachi could have still just used a regular Sharingan enhanced genjutsu to disable Hidan.
