Some might believe this to be a tired concept, one that is used over and over again. But the reason why it is used so much is because it’s an interesting question. What would have happened if Naruto, from the very beginning of the story, knew what was going to happen, and had the power to fix it. Not long ago, I made a what if that sort of followed this line of thinking, in that Boruto traveled back in time to be with Naruto, and there things didn’t work out that well, but that was because he was Boruto. Boruto did not experience any of the things Naruto had, nor did he have the wisdom of age to know how to properly alter things without ruining everything. But Naruto should have such a thing. It makes me truly wonder what could have happened iif Naruto had known from the beginning what would happen and had the power to do something about it. The "I can't make major changes" kind of MC is just a device to not have to think too hard and stay glued to canon. Or, rather, to try and put some leaves over how implausible canon's storyline being relevant is when the time travelled MC can squash it all by looking at it kinda funny. Might make sense if the MC's only tool is some knowledge, but, lol, lmao.

@@drippy_jerry oh just one change can have dramatically altering changes, and saving the lives of a whole clan (50-200 people), lives which were not in Naruto's base timeline would really change everything. Like Naruto's first mission to the bridge may not of ever happened, as those bandits may of been caught a year or so earlier and was still in prision or dead. Time is not something you want to mess with, just saving and/or taking one live can have major negitive effects. Take for example, you go back to save the life of a loved one who died a year or so ago, time will make it to where that person still dies no matter what you do. Since you going back in time is the resault of that person dieing, so if they never died you would never of gone back in time to save them in the first place.

One thing I like about these regression or transmigration/reincarnation stories, where someone knows the future, is seeing how well made the original story is, and how intricately everything comes together. For example, the fact that Black Zetsu was always around scouting out threats and issues with the plan, how one battle or death originally caused so much growth or affected so much later on, and then having to not only recognize and understand that, but replicate those sort of intricacies against your own plot to try do things better. Because in the end, the setting, the characters, the world they are in is alive and dynamic.

I feel that a large portion of this story wouldn't go exactly the way that you think, but it is quite a well put together video. I don't believe Naruto would act as incompetent as he does instead I believe Sasuke would be much less competent, more arrogant, and have les battle IQ and awareness. Example: without the hatred and training that drove him originally, in a fight against Zabuza he'd be more afraid and probably wouldn't come up with something as clever as the demon wind shuriken trick, but I understand Sasuke wouldn't be completely incompetent as Itachi would have trained him since he was young. Either way though these are small things and it is all very interesting to think about as it is true that Naruto would try to avoid altering or revealing to much about the future in fear he would never be able to truly return to his original life.

I like the idea of Naruto trying to change things for the better but EVERYTHING after he saves the Uchiha clan would change. Sasuke's father still hides a secret that is known by Zetsu about the Sharingan. This would lead to events happening within the family creating an eventual power division. One that Obito could take advantage of and build his army. Using the Uchiha they could recruit many from the other nations easily as there is already tension between them and the leaf due to the power imbalance created by Kurama. When Naruto and Jariya speak and he comes clean to what would happen, they should make a move to create the circumstances early that allowed Naruto the powers of the 6 sages and should teach Sasuke about it as well. Having that advantage early would dramatically improve their standing especially if Madara were to be brought back.
