That would be too much. Sim arcade would be good option.The thrillness in pulling off stunts,drift,jumps makes the good selling point of racing games.

It is more thrilling to pull off a jump or a drift with a challenging, realistic physics model. Personally, I grew bored of arcade racing games and I think many of us that grew up on these old NFS games did too. I think the way to really channel these (beautiful) memories in the players' minds would be to make the old experience more immersive. So improving not on the "wow" factor kind of things and certainly not on fucking microtransactions, but rather on the realism of handling, characters, story, tuning, tracks, sound, graphics and so on. The problem seems to be, as you mentioned, that this is not where the money is; or at least that's what the managers of big studios think. Still, sim arcade would be miles better than the crap that was implemented in NFS 2015 for example.

It looks great. It's very familiar, but also unfamiliar. It would be cool, if races & events could be added through out the map & some buildings were turned into shops. Then you could play the thing through & learn the layout of a different country. Captions for the district might be nice, too.

It's videos like this that got me into Assetto Corsa, the game is actually really good and can look almost lifelike with a decent PC and the right mods. I would also say it has the most realistic driving experience I have ever felt.

The true sound of the RB engine. I remember in Underground 2, there was a certain selection of mods you would need to equip to keep that RB sound and have something fast. Mod too much isnt bad obviously but you loose that sound and it turns generic like all the other maxed out cars.

This is impressive. Aweome job you did here. When you say "NFSU2 set in Japan" you meant literally on Japan roads or a imaginary map with a Japanese aesthetic to it? I hope the second one. Made up maps, permit developers to create entertaining roads and go beyond of what their imagination desires. What i mean is that a video game doesn't base itself on reality; it defeats it's own purpose (except for simulators) and limits alot creativity, gameplay and enjoyment out of it. Other than that, if you have this talent, i cannot wait for a NFU1, a MW 2005, a Carbon and a Pro Street videos like this one's quality (if you have that in mind)
