Last night was the first church service I wore a head cover. One lady just made a comment saying, “are you from India or something?” It was a joke but, I replied “shouldn’t we cover?” The conversation was laughed off and I didn’t take her into the whole conversation of why I chose to start covering. However, I feel it will come soon and I am prepared to stand for my take on this passage of scripture. This video has helped. Today I am wearing a head covering. I’ve made a decision to cover full time because I pray continually through the day.

Head covering cannot be Bad since Satan fights so violent against it. God bless you all who stand up for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Paul writes: 1 Corinthians 4:1: Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

@@JC-jk3kl I would say most pastors nowadays have been taught by the previous generation (who were taught by the previous generation) that headcovering was cultural and no longer applies. And bc pastors are men, I am sure they are not delving into researching the topic and take what they've been taught at their words. Thankfully we have people now like Jeremy and the like taking time to do research and educate this current generation. Now I would question this pastors compassion toward his flock by calling one weird, but not necessarily saying he isn't called to be a pastor/teacher.

This is the 2nd time the Lord has placed this on my heart in the last year. The first time, I read many things online saying it wasn’t relevant. I also had a friend and her husband tell me the same. So, I talked myself out of it. It’s been a few months and God has once again been leading me down this path.. Today, I am head covering at church for the first time. not gonna lie… it’s been back and forth. I’m having a hard time with it some days. It’s definitely not as easy as it seems to make the switch. It’s a conscious effort to cover my head whenever I’m praying or worshipping and I also find that sometimes I don’t have something with me… and then, I wonder if I should just headcover all the time. But, it’s honestly, a bit of a struggle for me still. I’m starting to understand why it has so easily been regarded as “cultural” because it makes you different! And I didn’t realize how hard it is to be different.

@@brookeconner2569 I'm having the exact same thoughts!! I've asked God whether I should cover all day long, and what it means exactly in 1 Corinthians 11. It's cold outside here, so I've been wearing my winterhat outside over the past days and inside I'm wearing a headband. Yes, it sure is easy to brush it off with "it's cultural"! And I did so for all these years even though I wondered: "Is it REALLY cultural?" Even today I heard a respected teacher say that it's cultural, but I honestly don't think it's meant to be cultural. I began covering my head yesterday. One lady wrote she covers all day because she prays throughout the day. I made this same decision. This video really resonated with me. I'm a 42 year old other of 8...(7 daughters). They think I'm cute doing it...which made me happy as I shared the scriptures about it with them. My 16 year old said she likes it and she plans to when she's married... And i was surprised that my husband supports it and told me this morning that some men are attracted to modest women who fear the Lord...he wanted me to be encouraged as its been a personal matter...it's new to us as we never paid attention to it before...not taught. But vs. 1 does mean it surpasses cultures and times. This has been such a heart change for me in my letting go of being in the world, for we are NOT to conform to the pattern of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. It is so personal between ourselves and the Lord Jesus. I want him to know I desire to honor him and to follow and serve him. The struggle is to not come across as holier than though...just want to love Jesus...

One more thing....if a woman’s hair is HER glory, all the more reason to cover it to experience HIS glory. It is an honor to cover your glory, so that your husband is shown respect. Read how Rebekah honored Isaac, her husband to be, and covered her head when she saw him approaching in Genesis 24:65. In verse 67, the word says that he loved her and was comforted after Sarah’s death.

Long hair replaces the woman's cloth veil covering. Men have to keep their hair short otherwise they would also have a head covering. Paul did not say for woman to cover their hair/glory but to cover their head with long hair. 1Co 11:15 and a woman, if she have long hair, a glory it is to her, because the (long)hair *INSTEAD(g473)* of a covering(G4018) hath been given to her;...YLT anti(G473) A primary particle; opposite, that is, *instead or because of (rarely in addition to):* - for, in the room of. Often used in composition to denote contrast, requital, substitution, correspondence, etc. peribolaion (G4018) Neuter of a presumed derivative of G4016; something thrown around one, that is, a mantle, *veil:* - covering, vesture.

@@goldenstreet8256 The issue at Corinth was not whether long or short hair was an acceptable covering, but whether or not the head was covered with a veil or hat. This is proven by the following: ----"Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head" (v. 4). The distinction here is obviously not between short and long-haired brethren, but rather between men with covered and uncovered heads. Contentious sisters were provided with an alter native: either cover the head or be shorn or shaven ( v. 6). But if long hair were the intended covering, then the Apostle's alternative is meaningless. "Cover" ( -ed, -ing) in the A.V. disguises the fact that different words for "to cover" are used in the Greek text. The distinction between two of these, "katakalupto" and "peribolaion" proves that a veil or head covering, and not long hair is intended. These words are as follows: "Katakalupto" ( 'kata' = 'fully'; 'kalupto' = 'to cover up'), "to cover fully" ( Yg). This word occurs through out verses 5- 13 and is translated "veil" in the R.S.V.; Nestle and Marshall's "Interlinear Greek-English New Testament'' and many other versions. These translations make it plain that the issue relates to a head covering, not the growth of hair, long or short. "Peribolaion" ('peri' = 'around'; 'ballo' = 'to throw, cast'), "something cast around" ( Y g). The long hair of a woman is her glory - like a mantle cast around ( v. 15) .(8) But this is not to be displayed in the assembly of believers before the presence of God. The intended covering in the ecclesial meeting is the "katakalupto" ---- the head covering or veil. When Paul refers to the long hair given to the woman as her glory, he is drawing a parallel with what "nature" or common-sense suggests. This can be seen from the following: MAN long hair is degrading. WOMAN long hair is her glory. Therefore. a parallel is evident [natural] with the spiritual a man ought not to cover his head a woman ought to cover her head. 4. The mistaken interpretation (9) evident in the question results from reading verse 15 as if it were the conclusion of the argument rather than an additional appeal to common-sense by a parallel: what "nature itself teaches.".

I started out being the only one at my church covering, being very scared to do so, but did it anyway by the grace of Jesus Christ. And several more women eventually started as well. We are currently up to almost 10 who regularly head Cover, And several more who started doing it sporadically. When you are the only one covering, you bring attention to a piece of scripture most churches completely ignore, you become an encouragement to other sisters who have felt convicted to head cover but have questions and don't know where to startt, and you walk in obedience to the word of God. Being the only headcovering sister is absolutely daunting at first, but it becomes far more comfortable over time. Be blessed, even if you are the lone headcovering sister at church, the Lord may just be using you to remind people of a discarded christian practice. 💜

I read this 1 Corinthian 11, and I am going to start Head Covering. I took this from, 1 Corinthians 11:5 "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven." I think this is there, because if a Woman's Hair was her ONLY Covering, why would Paul tell them to cover, if they were all ready Covered by their own Hair? Also, 1 Corinthians 11:5 states that a Woman's Hair is her Glory, not her Covering. I hope this makes sense? Be blessed and thank you for this Video.

@Omi-to-7-Bunnies
@Omi-to-7-Bunnies 5 жыл бұрын
I’ve received several negative and positive responses. A brother who sits near us snickered and asked if I was turning Catholic. Some sisters also snickered and shook their heads as they walked by, but thank God He removed them from our church. I love how the Lord removes them from being a stumbling block so that I may draw closer to Him. The positive responses are from true sisters in Christ. They never asked me why, just simply continued to love me. Because the Lord is my provider, I allow Him to choose my friends. I also think He brings others to buffet me to see how devoted I am to being submitted to Him in covering my head. I do wish I covered daily and have yet to find a covering that will stay put. I do not care for the Jewish tichels because I feel they are too showy. My pastors were receiving of my conviction to veil and have never brought it up in church since I have been covering. Prior to that, there were Apostolic women who wore a doily on their heads who were students in our Bible college. I remember he addressed it once in service and told them they didn’t have to cover but hasn’t since then. I wasn’t convicted at that time so I had no opinion then. Once I even made my husband turn around to go back home as I had forgotten it. He complied as he understood I would feel convicted without it. I do believe it isn’t enough to veil to be a submitted daughter to God and show submission to your husband. 1 Peter chapter 3 speaks of being of a quiet and meek spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. I work on perfecting this one all the time. Lol Thanks again for this video. It encourages me to stay on this path. If you have any suggestions about the type of veil that would stay on my head and hide my hair, I would be most appreciative. God bless you!!!

Good video! 2 Thessalonians 2:15 Paul also tells us to hold fast to those traditions. I think that just because headcovering has gone out with the feminist movement doesn't mean we have to have traditions that others have set, being a Christian calls us to be separate like you said and keep those traditions just as we still take communion. Have we stopped taking communion just because of changes in traditions? No. So we should still be headcovering. God bless!

I glossed over it having been taught that it was "cultural" of the times of which is was written. However, I don't see that, based on the greeting it definitely seems otherwise. I took it to my husband who then says, "I mean, it does sound like you should headcovering." Thus I've begun this journey. I for sure will be the only one of my friends and church practicing this. Imo you can start your headcovering with knit hat, wide headband, or vintage hat that worn by women in 1940s, so nobody will notice that you are wearing a religious headcovering (they would think you are dressing in vintage style), but in reality you are doing it. I was lead to begin doing this and am blessed that I obeyed. When I have run out of the house in a rush, I feel half dressed, thankfully that happened only a few times. I keep a hat in the car! I have found that some think that covering my head is placing myself above others, not true, it is to me, a reminder that GOD is my headship. My beloved supports this decision fully. Few dont make a comment, they let you do your thing and others try to "re-adjust" you like you are a child. Over the past months I got comments like: "dont become Jewish", or lately: "dont become too "law-full(?)" (I dont know if this word exists because Im not a Native English speaker) The comment was like when I take the "old" laws too serious I would forget that I am saved by grace (only). I would loose my salvation. I can not agree that although I know less yet, but my feelings tell me that I am on the right path. I wonder what would happen if I start headcovering?! I am the only one in my church that headcovers, and actually the only one I know who headcovers. I do see menonites now and again in the towns adjacent to mine, but otherwise I'm it. I was only attending my church for a few weeks until I started headcovering, I was sort of nervous but at the point in my life where I really didn't bother with their thoughts, just about pleasing God and my husband's wishes. Interestingly enough, no one in almost the year I've done it has ever asked why, just probably assumed I have my own reasons. At the same time I had also made the switch to only skirts/dresses and embraced being modest and chaste. I get many questions on why I don't wear pants though. 😄 But regardless, if your eyes have been opened to covering, or it be the wishes of your husband, just know it glorifies God and is a symbol of faith to other young women you may positively influence without even realizing it. As i was anxious about wearing a cover in church today with my in laws there and all the questions i fears i would face, or fearing that others would think i was trying to get attention, i chickened out. Lo and behold, in the sermom today, my pastor mentioned coverings (in a more spiritual sense) as an act of obedience and I am amazed, as always, at how He will lead us if we sincerely ask to be led. I plan to cover in church next Sunday as an act of obedience and thank you, my sister, for making this video for those of us seeking answers to these questions.

Indeed, this is proven by the man not to have a 'covering' on his head when praying to God. If hair was the 'covering' then he would have to cut off his hair each time before prayers, or of course, be bald........{;o;}

So I started to head cover and my bosses boss thought I was converting to Islam so did my mom. I just said that I don’t want to show my hair and that was basically it. Like the lady said on the video it’s really between you and God if you wanna head cover. Me personally I just feel led to be fully covered. So I do me and my mom and grandma actually like this scarves that I’m wearing and they actually want to order more scarves for themselves. And I just recently bought two veils that I think you’re absolutely gorgeous Lace veils and I’m so excited. I actually find myself so excited to buy different scarves and different head coverings for myself. So I think if you go and you just be confident in wearing a covering a lot of people will look at it and not say anything or comment on it and then you can just tell them whatever you want to tell them.

The woman said that when she wore a headcovering certain men ignored her like she was invisible to them. Also my experience with tassels was life changing for me in taking thoughts captive better. I see ladies wearing long dresses and skirts as a lifestyle as color against a black and white background of immodest women, all other women fade into the background for me. Modestly dressed ladies are like princesses of the King of the Universe and brides to Yeshua and a window of heaven with their increased countenance. A lady that embraces long dresses and skirts and headcovering as a lifestyle is priceless, the most beautiful of all God’s creation as a set apart lady, in my opinion. I believe headcovering and modesty changes ladies over time into the masterpieces ladies were created to be as helpmates.

What a beautiful insight! Thank you for sharing! This is exactly what I’ve been thinking recently as well. I’ve felt convicted to cover for about a year now, but the reason to cover has always been brushed off. “It was a cultural thing” or “Paul didn’t say women have to cover because then he would have been adding to the Torah”, are usual arguments not to. Also because I’m unmarried I’ve heard there is no reason for me to cover because “I have no spiritual (male) head over me to be honoring”. Yeshua is my head though, I want to submit to Him, and also His earthly hierarchy. After starting to cover I feel such joy I just know in my spirit it is the right thing to be doing.
@messianichebrewshawnkawcak1550
@messianichebrewshawnkawcak1550 3 жыл бұрын
@@ellen_bui glad you like it. It comes down to the heart, at the heart of the issue is an issue of the heart. Many get legalistic by making excuses because their heart is so hard. Being set apart from the world is not always easy, but it is necessary for a strong spiritual walk. Most women have grown up in this Jezebel (rebellious) culture even in the churches. Headcovering and modesty show where the heart is; many reject the idea partly because it is an accountability tool. Many people are afraid of being accountable for their behavior, hence why they don’t want to look set apart. When we look set apart from the world we have incentive to act set apart. One young lady that embraces long dresses and skirts as a lifestyle now said she has more self respect and self worth now, and her mom changed to dresses and skirts as a lifestyle as well as many of her friends started wearing dresses and skirts more. I think makeup, heels, and big earrings are part of vanity, but I respect women’s choices as it is not my place to tell them what to do. I think long hair is also about reclaiming lady hood and shows her commitment to God and the lifestyle. A lady’s long hair is a glory to her; I also see long hair as like a Nazirite vow in a way, as described in Numbers 6. There is nothing more beautiful than the feminine presence that honors God.

I do wear a scarf or carry one in my bag when I leave the house in case I get in a public prayer situation-as when we pray at a meal while eating out or whatever and I wear one to midweek Bible study. But otherwise I don’t read that we have to cover during private prayer and worship. Best wishes.

Thank you for sharing sister! I am so grateful for God’s Word! I also want to keep His commands, bless the Lord! Hallelujah!! When I first started covering my head with a scarf, I was in my first year of Bible college and just a new believer and God spoke to me through His word and then people laughed at me and professors said it was historical and I didn’t know how to explain it other than saying it was my conviction.. at the time. Although now I would say it is the order of God’s creation and it is a command not a conviction. I even got a talking to for wearing a hat in the chapel services and I said I am female I am to cover my head the males are not to do so that is how that tradition of respects even started.. Then I felt it was just a season and after a while I stopped focusing on making sure I was doing so although I look back in the few months I was less thoughtful on practicing it I was still doing so.. and God actually brought me more hats hahah as gifts from people and when I came back to this innate battle between this practice I realized what God had done and was showing me by giving me these hats z kinda sounds silly although our God is just that cool at speaking to us! Then I reread the scripture and it just hit fully and this isn’t seasonal it is a lifetime. Truly even when I sleep I have something on because I’ve been told I pray in my sleep😂😂🙌🏽🙌🏽✝️✝️ Hallelujah Bless you sisters keep going!

Hi, Mega Marley! Thank you for sharing your headcovering story! It's so neat to see how God has been guiding you in this journey. Yes, I agree that headcovering is a command (not just a conviction) and is for a lifetime (not seasonal). Very good points! ~Jessica

Theres this lady she had to have power in my church, she continuously thinks im muslim and think i wont stay long enough and think ill chose the mosque over the orthodox church. I told her im very sure because i dont even think about converting islam. I dont think they think or even see a full time head coverer like me. Even my pastor in that church wonders why. I think because i look muslim they delay my orthodox baptism, i will change church before i ever take my headcover out. I went a period without headcovering and ket me tell you, i was disrespected and felt less protected and was glad i started covering again. I also felt more beautiful and reminded of my feminity and to keep it up ill get a husband one day, God willing, the one he has for me. I wish people wouldnt judge but your right, its for God.

@JESUSISLORD38368 We're sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having. You might be encouraged to know that there certainly are Orthodox Christians who headcover. For example, here is a monastery in Arizona that requires all women to wear a headcovering when entering the monastery (in addition to a very modest dress code): stanthonysmonastery.org/pages/visitors-guides

That's a very good video , Sister , thank you so much for sharing ! May God bless you for your obedience , your humility and your modesty ! We find the accurate translation of Apostle Paul's greek text corresponding to 1st Corinthians 11verse15 in André Chouraqui Bible Version ; it says woman's long hair is her ORNAMENT ( instead of her covering or veil ). 1st Corinthians 11verse 6 wouldn't make sense anymore if christian woman's long hair was her christian head covering . So , christian woman's head covering is rather a simple and large scarf tied or not on head in the presence of God . When a christian woman wears a non - ornamental head covering in the presence of God , that's to say a simple and large scarf tied or not , she also gives God glory because she clearly and for the glory of God proclaims the message of the "Divine Order of Authority" described by the Apostle Paul in the verse 3 of the same chapter . In other words the message of the "Divine Order of Authority" to be respected and clearly proclaimed for the glory of God by every christian man and woman in the presence of God is the following : God the Father is in the 1st Position ! Jesus - Christ the Son of God is in the 2nd Position ! Man is in the 3rd Position ! Woman is in the 4th Position ! Blessings !

Paul was human too. Yeshua never talked about a headcovering. However I don't have a problem with wearing one, but just pointing out many Christians make a god over Paul. Yeshua said, " hold no man above Me!"

@@martykropf421 I guess it comes down to whether or not you consider all scripture to be God-breathed or not. Or just the "red letters" or words of Jesus. However, humans wrote and recorded those words as well but I don't doubt however, that those Are the words of Jesus.

@@gizzykat so what about the words Paul wrote that contradict with the words Yeshua said? In regards to Salvation? Yeshua said many times He did Not come to abolish the Torah, yet many Christians try to say the Torah was demolished when Yeshua died on the cross. Exact words contradict Yeshua's own words. That is how Constantine wanted it to turn Christianity against Yeshua and the Torah! It's mind boggling how Christianity chose to follow man on top of Yeshua! And why Constantine removed Yeshua from ALL Bibles. You should read up on the subject.

I have been thinking about head coverings for a few years now. I am a 68 yr old Protestant and most recently attended an Assembly of God church. Now I've been attending a Russian Orthodox parish with my son who converted, and although headcoverings for members are not "required" most of the younger women wear them. I am looking into converting, and may start wearing head coverings now because I think I should. I want to talk to the priest's wife first.

I am also hearing from the Lord when I read these Scriptures that this is not a changeable cultural tradition but a practice based on spiritual truth (like going to gather with the saints). It seems that it has ended as if it were a matter of dress choice, but that logic is not spiritual. I was wondering where you got your head covering? I would like to begin covering at Church. I see that prophesying and prayer (in public view) are when the apostle Paul instructed head covering for women which honors God. Thank you! God bless you all.

@@kamshopqueen88 God understands, he is not dumb and blind and deaf like the other "gods", who have no common sense, he understands if you are taking a shower, or going to sleep, he understands why you do not have your head covered at that moment, but he also understands why you do not have your head covered when you are not taking a shower or not sleeping, and since we speak with him all day, without ceasing, a woman should always have her head covered, God is an understanding God, he understands why some things must be done differently in certain situations, so when you are in the shower, still pray, and while you are in the bed going to sleep, still pray, and headbands are not a covering, they dont cover anything lol, also a woman should cover her head, not her hair, not her mouth and nose, but her head, as long as the head is covered, thats all that is needed, and by covering her head, She Honors the Man, and the Angels, why? Because the Man is the head of the woman, and if the Man covers his head, and prays and prophesies, he dishonors God, but why the Angels? 1 Corinthians 11 : 10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Women cover their head to also show respect to Man in Heaven, who are the man in heaven? The Angels, because the angels bare the form, the shape, the fashion, and the image of Man. Revelation 21 : 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. Amen, When a woman has her head covered, She shows honor to the man, Hallelujah, and also to the Angels of heaven, what a wonderful thing, even Solomon said a woman that fears the Lord, She shall be praised. I recommend every Woman to study Proverbs 31 : 10 - 31, It is what Solomon, the one whom God made the wisest man who has ever been on the earth, wrote to his children, about what a Virtuous(Perfect) Woman is, in every letter of the alphabet, people even started to call such woman a "Proverb 31 Woman". Women, I ask that you would Study Proverbs 31 : 10 - 31 Hard, and write down the meanings you get from it, because even though it is only 21 verses, There are many meanings to each verse, and many pieces of wisdom and understanding Solomon has placed in there, each verse does not mean 1 specific thing, so if you figure out 1 meaning of 1 verse, Ile tell you to keep searching it, because it was written in such a way to pull much information out of it, the Grace and Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you my Loved Sisters in Christ. you ar very personable and look lovely. more importantly you have the courage to do what you believe in. good luck to you. you might find it interesting to view the videos of some orthodox jewish women who head- cover following the Torah ( what christians call the old testament.). they even attire themselves differently than non- orthodox jews. however they do so in respect of their belief. like you. the " jar of fireflies", "sonya' s prep", " frum it up", " " " jayelle alafi" are all channels of women who cover their hair ( almost always with scarves but sometimes with wigs). the mennonite and amish christian women too cover their hair. in their communities they are surrounded by women with covered heads. more and more women of different religions are covering their head. you are setting a good example. keep it up.

Head covering isn't practiced on the entirety of my religion. In fact, I've never met another woman who is a member of my church who covers. However, I have been feeling pulled to cover. Because it isn't practiced by my church as a whole, I've been concerned about whether I should. It's been pulling me in 2 different directions for a few years now. After reading 1 Corinthians 11 though, and trying to find answers as to why my religion doesn't cover with no good reason outside of the beliefs that it was simply a cultural practice, I feel strongly that I want to in order to honor God. As for the cultural traditions belief, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

How is it going now after two years? I've been thinking a lot about head covering recently too. And nobody at my church or anybody I know does it, so I would be the only one. So to me it kind of feels like I would be bringing attention to myself, which is not the intention of head covering. But then, again, it would be for my relationship with our heavenly Father and Creator. For now I'm still undecided. But I do like to cover at home for my own prayer and Bible study time. So it's between me and God and not to bring attention to myself. I will say, as for the belief that head covering was a cultural tradition, it seems that the opposite is true. Christian women covered their heads until feminism took hold of the culture. That's when hemlines began getting shorter and shorter over the years, and head covering fell away.

As a person who seems to be someone who understands the nuances of human behaviour I can tell you that women wearing head coverings in the church definitely bring peace to the men in the congregation. Those women who are wise enough and strong enough to cover their heads in church are doing a wonderful thing. But hey is it really necessary all the time. If the bible says yes it is then yes it’s got to be done. But as I don’t know all the scriptures that pertains to this I cannot comment further other than saying that it’s nice to see a women’s beautiful hair. Yes if they cover it all the time it’s going to make some men feel more confident, but hey those women who cover their faces to make men feel more secure isn’t the way to go. And I would suggest that full time head covering isn’t the way to go either.

Thabk u so much for this video. I've been feeling convicted to head cover. God has put it in my heart before I even saw it in scripture. Once I read it. Now it's more clear this is something I should do. I also spoke to my husband about it n he supports me. I was also wondering what will my church say. I'm the only one. Will I feel uncomfortable. Weird. Will it call you much attention 🤔 well as longest My heart is in place n I know my intentions I think ur video gave me confidence. N I love how u mention we have to put our securities down n walk in faith. Thank u for this. It was well worded n explain n gave me the confidence. Now I ask how do I properly wear a head covering? Is all my hair sopose to b over. Or just the top. Please help

People often ask if a headband could be a hair covering and I try to avoid answering because it’s not my place to prescribe any particular style. I will answer this here: A thin little headband would not be covering much of the head. We do know that we were not taught to wear a face covering, or an ear covering, or a neck covering, or even a hair covering. We were taught to wear a head covering, kephale is the Greek word for head. How big does it have to be? Well, if we are to keep on praying a lot, and pray without ceasing, and take all our cares to our burden bearing Lord, we need to be able to pray often. We need to put an object on our head to cover our head when we pray and prophecy. A headband pulls your hair back. Paul didn’t teach us to pull our hair back. However, there are comfortable “expandable” cloth headbands that open up as wide as wearing a bandana. There are a lot of options too. As well as hats, berets, beanies, there are “Chapple Veils” and doilies and circle veils. In the right season a straw hat would do. In modern clothing situations, wearing your hood from your hooded top works. You can sew a cloth covering with a hair clippie sewn inside or something that ties at the back of your neck. All kinds of options.
