Obi-Wan Kenobi cannot breathe. His heart tightens at the sight of Qui-Gon’s lifeless form. The final hum of the green lightsaber he once admired now resonates with an eerie stillness. Anxiety and sorrow swirl in Obi-Wan’s mind like a storm, threatening to swallow him. He places his hand on Qui-Gon’s shoulder, almost expecting his mentor to rouse and offer some piece of timely wisdom, but the stern warmth of his Master’s presence is gone.
As if on instinct, Obi-Wan rises to face Darth Maul. He grips Qui-Gon’s weapon so tightly that his knuckles turn white beneath the leather hilt wrap. Maul’s sneer widens, daring Obi-Wan to lash out in retribution. A wave of fury surges through the young Padawan-fury at Maul for taking Qui-Gon’s life, fury at himself for failing to protect his mentor. He ignites the saber, fully expecting the comforting green glow that has always embodied his Master’s calm presence.
Instead, an intense purple blade springs into being. For a split second, Obi-Wan is stunned. He falters in his stance, and Maul exploits that hesitation, lunging forward with a ferocious overhead strike. Obi-Wan parries, but his mind is reeling. Purple? That color belongs to Master Windu alone. The Council has never spoken of a Jedi changing the color of a lightsaber-especially not in a moment of raw emotion.
The duel becomes a flurry of bright clashes. Obi-Wan, fueled by grief and guided by fleeting glimpses of Qui-Gon’s teachings, manages to overpower Maul. In a swift maneuver, he slices through the Sith’s double-bladed saber and lands a decisive blow, sending Maul hurtling into the depths. As the newly minted purple blade hisses, Maul’s final expression-equal parts shock and hate-disappears into the darkness below.
Obi-Wan rushes to Qui-Gon’s side, cradling the dying Master’s head. Though the Jedi can do nothing to bring him back, Obi-Wan whispers:
OBI-WAN (voice trembling):
“Master, I promise you, I will train the boy.”

I do like how the Emotional and Social changes that could do to the different lightsaber coloring and the representation they bring. After after looking through the origins of Mace Windu & the visual evidence from Visions and Acolyte; The shift of the lightsaber colors reflect the shift of the wielder and their decisions, which would affect everyone. It was similar to the other AU story where Anakin found a Red Natural Kyber Crystal on ilum.

Really interesting characterization. I like how Obi-Wan's journey diverges after that moment of darkness in Phantom Menace. This was a fun adventure. I'd love to see how this story of the Chosen One and "The Balance" continues from there.

well i gotta say pretty good for the first video i have watched on this channel and i read that this is an improvement on when you started so well done i will have to watch more of your videos to see how far you've come. Besides that i have an out there idea that i wonder what you can do with and it may take research. What if the Gunguns had their own force sect dedicated to the guds of naboo and jarjar was just the apostle of the god of mischief and trickery you could even add to the story anakin being refused by the jedi order and jarjar telling obi won that the gun guns will take them in as a reason they expose it

I'd love for you to make this video into a series of videos going right up to the revenge of the sith. I think that there's enough potential in your story to be worthy of such an effort. It’s more about the inner turmoil Obi-Wan is experiencing. Obi-Wan’s lightsaber went down the reactor shaft, so he used Qui-Gon’s. Appreciate your attention to detail!
