Indra and Asura’s reincarnation cycle within Naruto always fascinated me. However, the way reincarnation in Naruto has further confused me still. How some go to the Pure Land, while others must be reincarnated. But as I think about it, my assumption is that, when speaking of “Reincarnation”, they don’t mean it in a literal sense, as we know Hashirama and Madara must have gone there. The fact that they can be subject to Impure World Reincarnation tells me that their souls can’t be residing within Naruto and Sasuke in a literal sense, elsewise Kabuto and Orochimaru’s attempts to reincarnate them would fail, because technically they’re already reincarnated. But my own personal opinion on this matter is that their will, their chakra, is being passed down in such a way as genes are passed down. One will notice that Naruto and Sasuke remain in the familial line of Hashirama and Madara. And Hashirama and Madara remain in the family line of Asura and Indra. Likely what happens is that either through mixing of Chakra, or perhaps by direct chance, Indra and Asura’s chakra is recreated and whoever inherits this chakra will feel the will of Indra and Asura strongest. We already know that the Uchiha and Senju both are effected by Indra and Asura’s will, just not as strongly as the reincarnations, which is why Zetsu mentioned that it is unusual to see incarnations of Indra and Asura working so closely together. He says this with a straight face despite knowing that Hashirama and Madara exist. But alas, I’m talking a bit to much about this. The way they reincarnate is not something I’ve extensively studied, and the data books may provide insight into it. And if they do, feel free to tell me about it in the comments. I’d love to hear all of the Naruto lore you all have seen and heard. But the point of this video remains with the concept of Reincarnation. However, instead of it being Naruto and Sasuke who are the reincarnations, I wish to make it someone else. Two other people in fact. Obito and Kakashi.

my thoughts before seeing the video: it would kinda cool if Obito was the reincarnation of Asura as an Uchiha and Kakashi the reincarnation of Indra as somebody else and somehow they kinda switch places with the classic "good and bad" thing and it pretty much shows that Indra always had a good heart but bad environment.

This is a good start, but I wish you did more with Kakashi, don’t forget, he was one of Kushina’s guards while she was giving birth, and he would also have access to the Rinnegan and should’ve awakened it alongside Obito because Indra and Ashura’s chakra mixed in that state, it would’ve been cool to see Kakashi save Minato and to see them fight with their Rinnegan abilities, Obito would likely win because of his insane chakra pool and honestly better Kamui, even so, since Kakashi likely had a massive Chakra Pool too thanks to being one of Ashura’s incarnates it would’ve been a great fight, missed potential imo, I really hope Kakashi plays a bigger role in part 2

He was not her guard during her birth though, only the pregnancy. There were 1 or 2 anbu teams outside but neither were kakashi. If you watched some of the 1000 flashbacks littered through the show, you’d see kakashi with the rest of his cohort during October 10

You're forgetting that reincarnations can only appear once per generation and we know that madara is the reincarnation of Indra. So theoretically it would be impossible for obito to be the reincarnation of Indra simply because madara didn't die. This is creating an imbalance between reincarnations

According to naruto databook 4 in hagoromo character file it states : he is attentively watching over transmigated souls walking through an enternity of samsara in endless cycle of death and rebirth So the reincarnations do feel indra and Ashura wills the most due to the fact that there souls reincarnate inside the reincarnations And transmigation is a version of reincarnation where the souls is placed into entirely seprate body /entity /being after death naruto and sasuke are the descendants of ashura and indra that have the souls of both inside And since they reincarnate into seprate entities the edo tensei justu would still work on reincarnates

This is a crazy what if. Just to think had Obito not lost his other sharingan, and had kakashi not been forced to be bear a sharingan they both would’ve surpassed madara. I know that’s unpopular but double kamui is broken. And on top of that kakashi has weirdly absurdly large chakra reserves. Like one of the largest in the series. To put into perspective in his light novel he holds a quartz wall (mud wall that’s immune to lighting style) for 24 hours. And it’s not small it covered an entire city with it. The crazy part is that it’s been stated that it should be impossible to hold a normal mud wall for 24 hours. So imagine kakashi with and ashura chakra buff. And imagine obitos already broken kamui with Indra’s buff. They would probably become stronger than Madara did even with the ten tails. (3 eyed madara excluded). Edit: also I never noticed that at the end of the series both Obito and kakashi had their original eyes back. And they both had white hair. Truly they became brothers in the end.

Im gonna be honest. Video mostly just re-tells Obito’s backstory and doesn’t do anything with Kakashi. Aside from giving Obito the Rinnegan when Rin dies the video doesn’t change much until about minute 25. Most notable changes are that Obito kills Minato and Naruto therefore doesn’t get the nine tails.
