I usually hate "What if" stories but this one really hit me because this one could have actually happened. Padme, along with his children, were the only ones who would have been able to reach Anakin. The only thing I wonder about is if Sideous would have actually risked sending Anakin to Naboo knowing Padme was alive. That doesn't seem like something he'd do.

Padmé’s survival absolutely should have happened at the end of ROTS all because of Leia’s line about remembering her mother in Episode VI. There’s absolutely no way Leia would have remembered Padmé’s face after only seeing her once as a baby. As to explain why you don’t see Padmé in the OT, they could have easily added a pre-credits scene showing her gunned down during a battle against Imperial forces, or anything to show her dying before Episode IV

Not just this, but it would have been even more crushing if Vader was the one who directly kills Padmé during said battle. It would have been a final symbol of the whole “trying to prevent your destiny is what causes it to occur” thing that caused Anakin’s fall in the first place. Plus, if Vader had fallen so far into the darkness that he directly kills his own wife, it would make his redemption in ROTJ seem all the more impossible.

I liked this story. There was so much more to Anakin than the Prequel movies depicted. After seeing him depicted in Clone Wars, I couldn’t see him joining Palpatine at all. It stopped making sense to me. And seeing Hayden Christiansen’s superior work in the Ahsoka series, we got to see the Anakin that should have been from Day One. I’m glad he’s part of Star Wars again. I like any story where a redeemed Anakin lands the killing blow on Palpatine.

its a good story and i know you probably left some stuff out to not make the video a hour long but maybe your next story that you enjoy writing try not to leave out tarkin, thrawn, and the death star. It adds potential for a more fleshed out story if it seems more realistic and its not missing key factors, like for instance even though the empire was only just born in this story the death star wouldve already been under construction, vader/anakin would know of its construction and would surely tell the new republic the fight isnt over, thrawn would be aboard either A, his star destroyer fleet, or B the deathstar overseeing its construction, tarkin would most likely be doing the same. Just because the sidious has died wouldnt mean the empire died with him. There would also be the problem of inquisitors, they would be horribly trained in the dark side in this story so it could be possible to turn them back and help with the reconstruction of the jedi order. But as i said i know you probably leave a lot of this out due to time, but if you ever feel like making a longer more real story i think adding these factors could really make it feel more real and emotional, and dont be scared to add some sacrifices by loved characters, as long as its done right and in a scene that fits the character it can really add to the story and impact of 1 persons actions. But of course, its just a "what if" meant for fun, not like your making a new star wars show lol, just my opinion sorry if it seems a bit much

Except for Plot Armor (TM) I don't see the situation where Ahsoka, Kenobi, and Anakin, who as you said in the fight against Kenobi, doesn't know his suit well yet AND the suit was weak to lightning winning. Without Yoda, or Mace I just don't see this group winning. Vader would have left Palpatine's side the second he knew Padme lived. I don't see Vader ever being in the situation where he's willing to kill Padme for something something something The Dark Side something something. His whole point in seeking power is to bring her back. Even when in full suited Vader mode 10 years into the Empire's reign.
