The problem with the Empire was that Palpatine kept a bunch of suck ups in power. They cared about appeasing the emperor instead of helping the people. Anakin wouldn’t govern like this. He believes in Meritocracy, where politics power is earned through one’s achievements and contributions to the system. If they didn’t do their jobs they would die. Palpatine didn’t care about that. If they could hold off the rebellion then they could stay no matter how bad it got for the people on the planets they ruled

What if Ahsoka was able to bring Anikan out of Vader in her fight on Malacor? (Reposting very long comment) Imagine this. The part that is Anikan has been waiting in a council chamber, in Vader's mind all these years. Instead of fighting Vader after she saves Ezra, Ahsoka deactivates her sabers and kneels before him. The ultimate trusting in both the Force and Anikan. And she is rewarded for it in ways no one, not Yoda, not Obi-Wan, not Sidious could have ever possibly imagined! Vader only struggles for a minute and is about to strike Ahsoka down when Ahsoka's spirit owl (my humble apologies for not rembering what it's actually called) flies into Darth Vader! Up until this moment the small part that is still Anikan has been wandering in a shadow Jedi temple looking for a way out. But only hearing voices and battles that elude him as he turns corner after endless shadowy corner. But at this moment of supreme need that remnant of the light side flies into Vader and that sliver of Anikan sees a door in the shadow Jedi temple emblazed in light. And he walks through. Now for the fun part. Just as Darth Vader is about to strike Ahsoka down an arm comes out Vader's arm, holding him back. And to the utter shock of both Vader and Ahsoka, Anikan Skywalker emerges, a living physical being, from Vader to save Ahsoka! He is older, he is extremely confused. But he is actually Anikan Skywalker. Now is that not a chosen one thing to do? At this point the temple begins to collapse and our Ahsoka, thanking the Force, gets Anikan out of there as Vader flees as well. Now we have a real interesting story. Vader is truly free of Anikan and becomes the true chosen one of the dark side. Finally able to achieve his full horrible potential. Very bad for the good guys and possibly Sidious as well. Suit upgrade? And Anikan is able to truly commit to the light. I imagine Obi-Wan, Sidious and Yoda would feel this shock wave in the force. Anikan will have to brought up to speed and it will suck. You wake up after a fifteen year nap to discover your Jedi order, your Republic and your wife is gone and decisions a version of you took caused all of it. But on the other hand the rebel alliance has just been handed a game changer. Anikan Skywalker, hero of the clone wars, Jedi Knight Supreme, General and inspiring leader returns to train padawans, lead rebels and bring hope to the Galaxy; literally back from the dead! Every clone left will flock to the rebel alliance to be led into battle by general Skywalker! Ezra's light Saber skills are about to get a major upgrade. Maul's going to have a bad day? The basics of this new timeline alone are fascinating. Will Anikan find Obi-Wan and get his light Saber back..., and meet his son! What about Leah? What sort of relationship will an adult Ahsoka end up having with this version of Anikan. After all he may still be a jedi..., but she isn't. My apologies for writing a novel here.

This is a great video; Mr. TSG and Anakin and Padme as Emperor and Empress of the Galactic Empire made the empire a liberal democracy that actually wanted to bring peace, and this is the empire I would like to live under Anakin's reign as a Jedi Emperor. And Obi-Wan joining Anakin and becoming the enforcer is an excellent surprise. This is a well-done video, my friend, and please keep up the great work. I really like it! Quite honestly, they created a character, Anakin, that is so complex and grew over time, matured, fell in love, was about to become a father with the love of his life, great military strategy, a master Jedi himself, and then with with a snap of the fingers became an immature brat completely blinded by rage, kill everyone, literally everyone, terrible fighting skills (come on, he lost 3 limbs and was almost melted by lava), and became a puppet of the Sith lord. All to just to fit the history of the classic trilogy. Also, I agree about Padme, she was an intelligent and experienced politician, she wouldn't be so emotional and unable to manipulate the situation to a less violent outcome. The role of Obi-Wan I would question a bit, he was too proud, arrogant, he could be the one to turn to the dark side, after all, he was not the chosen one to bring peace, it was always Anakin. Hmmm, I think your story would have made so much more sense tho. Amazing!

Order 66 comes early. The grand master of the Jedi Order tried to assassinate the Supreme Chancellor based on nothing but his religious beliefs which were perfectly legal to have. Any connections to Dooku can be explained away by the Rule of 2. The Clone Wars being labeled as Dooku attempting to replace his master and overthrow the Republic. Everything ends perfectly for Sidious if he plays this right

Congrats on making it to 8000 subs! I don't really have a problem with the story until the end. Obi-Wan seems to just forgive Anakin for sacking the Temple and killing Younglings. I think killing Sidious would have only made their relationship neutral. I cant see Obi-Wan befriending Anakin or being very understanding of the position Anakin was in. Also, one of the symptoms of Empire is continuous military expansion. Its just a nitpick of mine. Words have meaning. You ought not just call something an Empire. The three overarching symptoms of Empire are Continuous military expansion, Unified system of government, and racially diverse subject people. You need all 3. Otherwise, they're just an Autocratic Republic.

Instead of a benevolent dictatorship, Anakin, Padmé and Obi-Wan could establish a constitutional monarchy. They could have a Chancellor that serves as the head of the government while the Emperor/Empress is the head of state. Anakin and Padmé would be Emperor and Empress, naturally, and that position is hereditary. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan or Bail could be elected as Chancellor. I, personally, would vote for Obi-Wan because Chancellor Kenobi has a nice ring to it.
