The problem with open sourcing games is that there are often assets or tooling that have licenses that forbid open sourcing, and the only real way to get around it is by using different assets, tooling, and maybe even a different game engine. Maybe GD is in the same boat, though I'm unsure. But hey, we can dream, right?
