No this idea is amazing it would be sick if a Few route 1 pokemon would evolve into like a god mode like give them 4 or so evolutions with the 4th stage being the all mighty form. Honestly it would be cool to have one pokemon that was a main stay on your team that could go from the beginning of the game to an end game form that could stand toe to toe with mythical, legendary, or god like pokemon.

I wish the PKMN Co. would do something like this. Spearow into Fearow for example, something I'd thought of: - Backstory to explain, the legendary form being the ancestor(s) to Spearow and Fearow elsewhere. - Past event that made most migrate elsewhere to regions like Kanto, Johto, Galar, etc... Hence how Spearow and Fearow are 'native' to Kanto. - The ancestors that chose not to migrate in this hypothetical event, and survived; they began to evolve like a Regional Variant over time. Due to (potentially) harsh climates, they became LEGENDARY tough. - Thus now the legendary Spearow or Fearow, whichever would be the first of the ancestors to transcend normal Poké-hood; gives reign for a new legend of a starter route PKMN. - In conclusion, we get a possible future bad*** Pokédex entry of a route one Pokémon. Then Spearow and Fearow have a different region ancestor, of which became the STUFF OF LEGEND. Thanks if you made it this far lolz, especially you Hoops. I hope y'all catch my drift. 💯
