Nah, I won't lie. This got me HYPED! While in previous seasons I felt like the show doesn't do the best job at fully exploring the concept of What-If parallel universe storylines to its fullest potential, this trailer alone has me sold on the final season as it actually seems like they're going all out on the premise and introducing characters and new ideas outside of the MCU continuity to give weight to what stories they plan to tell. We got cowboy Shang Chi, Mega-Zord Avengers, multiple Watchers, & *MF STORM AS THE GODDESS OF THUNDER LFG!!!* ⛈🌩⚡

I think the main problem with the show is that when you break down the logic of the universe concept in the show, it's the exact same as the branch timeline concept in Loki and Endgame, which both make it explicitly clear that timelines are not universes. In the defense of What If...?, it was written before Loki was, and Endgame's rules weren't clearly defined, but despite them constantly using the word universe, they follow the rules for the multiverse and branch timelines at all times, including showing Wanda pulling people into different "universes" and Strange Supreme going to different "universes", depsite Multiverse of Madness establishing that only America Chavez can physically travel between universes, and anyone can travel to a branch timeline within the SAME universe. If that language error wasn't there, I don't think people would be as negative on the show not living up to the concept, as it's not supposed to be other universes, but merely twists on MCU events or combinations of MCU characters we haven't seen before, or taking various concepts and ideas throughout the MCU and combining them in interesting ways. I didn't explain it well, but the whole point isn't to be completely disconnected from the MCU, but to take various aspects of the MCU and tell new stories.

I loved reading the What If comics back in the day. This is going to be another fun season of cool interesting stories. I didn't expect to see that character at the end of the trailer because I thought none of them were showing up until the movie stuff happened. It sucks that this is the final season because I wanted at least two more up to Season 5. Maybe they might think of starting a new series after everything with the multiverse movies are done and all the Marvel characters are finally in one universe. One of the things I always wanted to see in live action even though I'm not a big Wolverine fan is the story "What If...Wolverine Became Lord of the Vampires". The mutant characters will eventually be in the MCU and if they decided to do a live action What If movie every 2 years of a fan favorite issue, but altered the story to fit with the MCU that would be awesome. I'm glad they brought Kahhori back for the last season and I hope they continue some of the other stories like the Hela and the Ten Rings storyline. Why haven't they used any of the Eternal characters yet in the series? I'd love to see Makkari and the rest of them again. Jaby that Doctor Strange whale joke had me rolling.🤣

I think one reason that Marvel Studios is ending the What If....? series after this third season may be because of the next two Avengers films pretty much dealing with the What If... concept and colliding it with the Main MCU universe. I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to just make the What If... series an animated film franchise that comes out every couple years. Give the stories more time to develop over a 80-100 minutes running time instead of just under 30-minutes as an episode.
