So here's a crazy theory. Both these movies are linked as The Leader is behind the assassination attempt and the hulkification of Ross (there is a board that says Reset Ross Reset America,) and perhaps he is either behind Valentina (maybe without her knowing,) or whatever the Thunderbolts end up against. Now, the craziest part...The Leader works for (and believes he's working with and not for) Dr Doom. 😱

I'm gonna guess Val approached Bucky to help her recruit her new "avengers" since the previous team is kind of scattered. Then I'd say she has him go track them down and bring them in to talk to them and convince them to work for her. By the end of the Thunderbolts it'll almost certainly be dubbed The Dark Avengers.

Esposito is credited on Imdb as "Sidewinder" there where three different characters in the comics with this name, all part of the Serpent Society. It was originally foundet by the first Sidewinder. The group was organized more like a supervillain labor union, with the members providing protection for each other, sharing profits, and organizing profitable crimes, according to Wikipedia.

Both were really solid trailers! Very excited to see what happens. Winter Soldier is one of my favorite MCU films, so I really hope they keep up the political thriller vibe from that one in both of these! Go Bucky and Cap!

I like that they’re using the helmet and mask to give a nod to Sam’s time in the Air Force this way he can also function and help him fly at higher altitudes and at a faster speed without lack of oxygen. With thunderbolt Ross now being red Hulk, I feel that he made damage the vibranium shield and Sam is going to have to have one made out of adamantium

They won't. They can't. It's a crap character because even his creators don't understand how he works, and how much of a fuckin corner they painted themselves into...having to resort to the most stupid of cop-outs just to keep him in check because otherwise the entire marvel universe would just be permanently fucked. They'd have to constantly invoke beings of unlimited cosmic power (Watchers and One-Above-All...and probably Loki, now) just to deal with him AT ALL. All because they never thought even slightly about how his abilities actually work or how they'd all interact with one another...and they don't understand the origins of "motivation" in the first place, having apparently listened to one too many "inspirational" seminars.

The thing I care about that nobody else cares about: both trailers for Thunderbolts include a random cutaway to Geraldine Viswanathan playing a character named "Mel" who in the comics is the mutant Songbird. In the comics she's recruited into the Thunderbolts by Bucky. Probably wishful thinking, but you don't cast someone like her to be a random office worker.
