Things to take into an account: -Dobby still works for the Malfoys, and hasn’t been free -The diary isn’t destroyed -The sword didn’t get the Basilisk poison -The Basilisk still alive and in protection with Hagrid -Lockhart not having his memory wiped

Note about the Polyjuice Potion segment: in the books, the voice also matches the person you transformed into. It’s only in the movies where they’re different. It’s pretty inconsequential here, but I thought I should mention it since you seem to be following the book canon. Also, I just realized how boring Prisoner Of Azkaban is gonna be with the entire twist already being revealed and resolved.

LOL yeah that's right. Like the whole thing is about Sirius escape but like he never went to jail. Maybe Pettergrew is the one to escape this time.... 🤔

so i'm guessing your doing ALL the books. Nice to see the two twists of harry and ron combo making malfboy suffer like Ron in canon (was so worth that detention lol) and hagrid (a half giant) getting salizar Slytherin's basilisk (Slytherin would be turning in his grave on THAT statement and voldermort would be PISSED when he finds out!)

Sirius is Uncle Iroh in this and I love it. Also I assume Dumbledore's plan was for him, Snape, and McGonagal to the enter the chamber with Fawkes and let him tear the beast's eyes out before they Avada Kedavra it into the next world.

Dill I must say you Outdo yourself with these Harry potter what ifs! I usually have trouble to just listening when intent on watching a developing story. Think of the frames changing to accomodate the imagination while listening to a story. But with the HP stories its just magical the way you tell it ;) xD Would love for part 3 in the near future ^^ And I have to say. I wonder what the full series and in turn supercut of this version of Potters story will look like ^^ :D

I know part 3 is already up for channel members/patreon but I have a guess as to who is gonna be the datda professor in year 3 (and it isn't Remus) but it's very exciting, I like the fact the basilisk survived and the logic you used for Harry's taming of it, however the only thing I would counter is even though the diary was a young Tom it was still 50% voldy, the most wholesome version of him. Maybe Harry teaches hagris paselemouth (at least enough to not have to wear a blindfold) it's going to be interesting to see where this progress's but without the basilisk venom destroying horcrux 1 I wonder how they will do it, especially since the Gryffindor sword wasn't enhanced by it. As always fill fantastic work, I really do love these longer videos

Now the third story of this new timeline, I bet it's going to be a bit harder. Because Serious isn't a Prisoner of Azkaban but what would it look like? We'll have to wait several months to see where that goes.

Spoilers for the last few books, but if you don’t know the plot why are you even here? Just realized, since harry never killed the basilisk or destroyed the diary, that means hunting Horcruxes will be so much harder. After all, the two main weapons used to destroy them, those being the sword and the basilisk teeth, both are unable to destroy them. The sword will have never absorbed the basilisk venom, and there won’t be an easy skeleton to pluck teeth from. This means that the methods to destroy the diary, the ring, the locket, the cup, and the snake are all moot, unless Harry can convince the basilisk to eat all of them. Not to mention how they will not have nearly enough knowledge to figure the secret out in the first place. Without the knowledge of the full extent to which Tom Riddle is connected to the diary, they’ll never be able to tell it’s a Horcrux beyond a mere guess. Since they don’t have the weapons or the proof, Dumbledore wouldn’t be able to tell whether it was truly a Horcrux or not. If that’s the case, how will they ever take Voldemort down?
