I would love to see a cartoon done with marionettes and practical puppets that has this level of goofiness. I would make it more friendly but still molded in rubber for flexibility. Some of these characters are so cool. Inspirational for sure. I love the idea of bringing old methods of animation, like stop motion, out of the storage trunk and infusing it with new possibilities combining it with the other forms of animation. This reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton, or even older like "Tubby the Tuba" from 1947, in stop motion. Love the look. Love to experiment with the technology.
