From a storytelling perspective the way everything is set up makes a total defeat even more unsatisfying than a flawless victory, unless there's some crazy twist, especially because the antagonists, while well done, are all quite simple and just PLAIN EVIL, and it doesn't feel like the point of the story in the end is going to be "what if the bad people are just more powerful and you can't do anything about it?" Granted that can be a compelling story, just hasn't felt headed that way so far.

I think to me it is because Sukuna was always hyped up as the strongest that it would not work. The story of a man who never lost continuing to not loose just is not that interesting. I think the villain wining could work in somthing like one punch man since the villain is actually the underdog there. Even in JJK it could work with someone like Mahito since we actually see him grow alongside the protagonists but with Sukuna as much as i love him seeing him win would be unsatisfying

JJK is one of the few shonen I've read so far that could conceivably pull this off without it seeming like a betrayal of the core story. Yuji's death is basically foreshadowed from the very first chapter -- to the point that it would probably seem like a bit of cop-out to a lot of fans if he somehow survived past the end. And as people other than me have pointed out before, dying at the hands of Sukuna is basically the highest honor you can receive in the world of JJK. For Jogo, Gojo, Kashimo and Higuruma, dying in combat against the King of Curses is effectively a therapeutic experience that lets them realize their highest point of self-actualization and complete their character arcs, so it wouldn't be a stretch at all for it to ultimately happen to Yuji as well as a nice little bow on his story.

I only like this idea if one of the MC(s) survives, hopefully Yuji AND there's a succession series where he makes his comeback. Like i think a shonen manga where the bad guys win at the end would be really cool, only IF that wasn't the whole story and in reality, it was 2-part manga, where the fans thought it was over. They had no idea that this was happening and the author shocks everyone by the MC we've been following the whole series survives and coming back to win in the 2nd series. Like, for JJK i think that'd be really sick in particular and fit with the themes of the whole series. Sukuna wins, kills everyone but Yuji, Yuji grows strong enough to follow him through time, they both get revived in the future and Yuji wins the rematch in a 1v1. be pretty radical.

im fine with either good or bad guys wining so far bad guys seem to be more alike to win, heck technically speaking if sukuna creates the emrger Kenjaku wins, kenjaku's goal was never "destroy the world"or to even live to see it, his goal was the merger and the evolution of humanity because he thinks there's more to humanity's potential(probably because he saw sukuna) and sukuna's goal is to enjoy himself technically speaking they could easily "win"without it being a good guy's die but even then, the story's powr system is literally created from negative emotions the strongest individuals are always those that are greedy and selfish, even the protagonists gojo is extremly selfish, almost the same as sukuna but has different pleasures that he wants to fill yuta literally has rika just because of his selfish love for her and not wanting her to die and lose her and in jjk0 his main reason for not joinning the genocidal geto is cuz he insulted his friends because "he doent know what's going on"as if genocide wasnt clear enough yuji got selfish enough to "eat anything"or more like do anything to kill sukuna and now he has a ct, possibly multiple after devouring his own brothers and was fully ok with bringing higuruma that literally wanted to die before the fight with him, would u ever see yuji before all this be like this towards his friends? would u ever see him tell megumi "yah summon mahoraga so we kill this fuker alongside u megumi" higuruma wanting to live during the fight literally developed RCT on the spot remember that being selfish doesnt mean being evil, means doing what YOU want

[fire force spoilers] It would be a BOSS move for Sukuna to win! I would LOVE it! I would love to see how society changes...maybe in that world, Sukuna is regarded a founder deity and it's more about sequel like the Fire Force and Soul Eater connection. Sukuna may not even appear in the series - we'd just get a new show set in a world where evil can win and where we know how it began.

If Sukuna wins, there's no future jujutsu society. If he wins again Yuta, Yuji and others, then he activates the merging process, what will fuse ALL POPULATION of Japan with Tengen, which means there's will be only 2 creatures in Japan: Sukuna and "Tengen" left, and no humans, and because jujutsu (cursed energy, techniques and so) is mainly Japan stuff, so there's nothing left. (I know that some sorcerers are being captured by the USA and others + there's some overseas sorcerers, but there will be no techniques or families/clan that builded current jujutsu)
