I think all of your choices were good but for James’s Galar Pokemon I make his third Pokemon either Gossifluer as he is quite often seen holding a Rose or Camerant as I can see it trying to Gulp him with Affection.

I think it would be hilarious if Meowth and Pikachu were constantly on sight, to the point where they have to team up Ash and Team Rocket have to hold them back so they don’t beat eachother up. And Meowth genuinely having no interest in other pokemon, Jessie tries to say: “Meowth, attack that butterfree.” And Meowth gets genuinely confused, because it’s not Pikachu, so why would he attack it? Edit: I also think it would be funny if Jessie had a rivalry with her Oinkologne. (?? I don’t know how to spell it) It would be a funny dynamic to see Oinkologne trying to steal Jessie’s spotlight, or Jessie’s verse in the team rocket intro.

1:58 Apparently so did the anime considering Pikachu fighting Tyson's Meowth who not only knew Iron Tail but also Thunderbolt. Anyway, pretty good teams. Kept the staples (though to be honest I love most TR mons but I only needed Wobbuffet and Mime Jr to stay) while also giving reasons for the new members. My favourites were probably the general philosophy for James' (either babies or loving pain) but more specifically Octillery, Maractus and Pyukumuku and Jessie's Smoochum, Nidorina and Vespiquen. Honourable mentions go to Shedinja and Comfey both technically being Jessie's but more so just take a bystander, follower role, I think that's kinda funny. Obviously one or two disagreements but it's natural when you sometimes have to stretch to make these full teams and can be somewhat negated with the stipulation you made of "they don't have to have all these Pokemon, there's just 6 slots and I wanna use them". Plus you still present good reasons.

For Journeys I see them using their underground Kanto hideout as a storage/home for all of their Pokémon. That way they have a rotation/ mix of all of their Pokemon

Froslass and Poipole is CRAZY, i like to think that in this timeline James is regarded as fairly successful especially after Alola, while Jessie is just mildly annoyed by the fact, maybe it results in a major conflict, who knows

Jessie could have gotten a Sprigatito that eventually evolves into a Meowscara. Not only is Meowscara fitting for Jessie, but I’ve never seen anyone attempt to give Team Rocket a starter before.

Sorry I know you can give any pokemon you want but I cannot see all the Ash pokemon you gave to James belonging to him. Also Tinkaton is FAR too good of a pokemon to be wasted on James. The gag potential is far too limiting. Have it belong to Ash or a companion so that it is constantly responsible for Team Rocket blasting off again. That's the gag.

I feel like Scovillain fits James more. I even came up with a gag where the green head is sweet and likes James but the red one is mean and hits him with Spicy Extract. It’s grade A comedy. I gave Jessie grafaiai and flittle.
