Ultron has already been shown to be one of, if not THE, most dangerous enemies in all of Marvel Comics. The Ultron we got in AoU was nothing compared to his comic counterpart, who has actually wielded the Infinity Gauntlet multiple times, and once assimilated an entire techno-organic race in order to conquer the entire Kree Empire in less than a week.

I think the point of Thanos’ timing of his push were that beings like Ego, Hela, Odin, and the Ancient One were already gone. You’d have to exclude them because they would likely intervene if they were alive in the main story.

Not to mention that if we're including Ultron, we have to add that Ultron was going to kill all humans. That effectively makes him mutually exclusive with other Earth villains. That said, none of the earth villains were too special they couldn't be replicated by a particularly specialized drone.

Also there were a lot of villains left out of the discussion like Apocalypse, Red Hulk, Juggernaut, Mister Sinister, Venom, Magneto ect. I could see Apocalypse and his 4 horsemen being a challenge on their own, especially if they are at the level of when he had Hulk as War. Lets say Apocalypse has Red Hulk, Lady Deathstrike, Magneto, and Venom as his horsemen. They alone probably couldn't take Thanos, but he wouldn't have an easy fight. Then throw in some people like Juggernaut, and Loki and Thanos is going to start struggling. Loki would be making a bunch of illusions to confuse, and slow him down, and everyone else would be hitting him with everything they got, and trying to remove the gauntlet

I think you've tend to forget in parts of the video he had 4 stones which made him the most powerful being in the universe. Ultron was modeled after Stark, who would have continued to prepare and improve his abilities for the eventual threat that would come. My problem with Thanos is his lack of imagination when it comes to using the infinity stones. He has the REALITY STONE, he could flex his finger for half a second and turn them all into silly string. He did the exact same thing to the guardians of the galaxy, rendering them all defenceless

Thanos has no issue using the reality stone, but its been nerfed pretty hard in the movies. The MCU reality stone only controls in a certain area and acts more as a temporary solution. He needed to stop the Avengers physically in order to break them down, he wanted them to stop trying and to give him the time stone willingly. He can't steal the time stone so he had to steal their will to fight.

Odin would also die from the meteor since he was in Norway or whatever since Loki put him there after taking the throne two years prior. That means Hela escapes Hel and easily takes over Asgard as Loki is no match for her. Then Hela would take over realm after realm until Surtur finally decides to show up, but without the eternal flame Hela whoops his ass. Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Wasp would never exist, leaving the only other villain to be Ego who still loses to the Guardians since Ultron winning doesnt affect him and the Guardians. Now here is where it gets interesting. If Ultron wins normally in the timeline then the Ancient One would know and she would try to stop him or try to train Dr Strange earlier so that he could defeat him. So it's almost impossible for Ultron to win because the Ancient One would be prepared. We can bypass that though. This timeline would have Ultron control Vision's body with the mind stone and it will also probably lead to him eventually finding the time stone, which would be catastrophic for Thanos. With Hela ruling Asgard and with the tesseract kept in Asgard, Thanos and the Black Order would be utter fucked. Thanos would be able to take the power stone from Xandar, the reality stone from Knowhere and maybe the Soul stone by kidnapping Gamora again. After that, Thanos would just have to give up, or die trying. Vibranium Ultron army with a Vision and the time stone or Hela who's been on Asgard for years destroy them in seconds.

I don't know about that. Plenty of the characters here wouldn't work well with others. Also the MCU history would have been drastically different. If Ego hadn't been stopped he would have pretty much made Thanos' mission obsolete since Ego would be the universe. If Ultron had won Earth would be controlled by him and all the Earth villains would likely be dead. You would also have to think how did all of these characters end up teaming up and why were they so quick to trust each other. Ego would have no reason to work with them and would probably take Thanos on himself.

Villains fighting or working with other villains is always so great because of those wild card factors. Villains are always stronger because they’re usually meant to be fighting multiple heroes at once if not an entire team, so teaming them up automatically gives them the advantage in power. But then you consider that they’re all insane, backstabbing selfish shortsighted megalomaniacs for all their own reasons and they’d scheme and betray each other- if not just outright try to kill each other from the start. It would be so fascinating to watch unfold and see how these separate villains all played off each other

A pure vibranium body powered by the mind stone (vision is only partly vibranium) would be far more durable than the shield. Plus cap intentionally blocked the Uru sword thanos had. Ultron (being his body) would have no incentive to allow thanos to hit him with said sword. The two situations wouldn’t be comparable.

Plus the writers have zero fucking clue what they did by making thanos be able to burst his head like that. Thanos in the MCU is weaker than comics thanos. Comics thanos without using reality warping can’t even break vibranium hitting it as hard as he can. Yet this thanos pinches it and it supposedly snaps. This leads me to believe that the way that vision was 3D printed is not pure vibranium. That in order to make his body more lifelike, there was other materials used.

Another thing with that matchup, she can conjure absurdly sharp large/small swords/daggers as much as she wants and with ease. Instantly heals from any damage, and has a metric fuck ton of strength. A power stone blast to the Guardians knocked them out, but didn’t kill them, a concentrated beam of a direct hit from the power stone may have temporarily KOed Captain Marvel, but against Hela, who has better regen and recovery than Captain Marvel would laugh that off...I really don’t see how Thanos could beat her given the rules of it taking place on Titan. They would ambush him same as the heroes, but Hela could just summon an instant blade the size of Thanos and cut him in half before he can even comprehend what is happening.
