Yeah that cracks me up because there heritage is primarily Irish. I know for a fact that John and Paul's family both immigrated from Ireland. As far as George and Ritchie's (Ringo) family I can't say for sure for the top of my head. But I will say that this video was quite entertaining.

There is a strong resemblance with the Lverpool and Dublin accent. Liverpool has a huge Fan club in Dublin and most of them cross on the ferry to all the home Games plus championship Games, not to mention the Games on the continent.

The Beatles were proud of their Irish heritage. Clearly shown in Paul McCartney's 'Give Ireland back to the Irish' and Lennon's 'Luck of the Irish' and whatever that Beatle's film is when Paul's grandad is seen singing A Nation Once Again! And yes...the name lennon is a telling sign...

I can never remember the name past the letter "P". According to the Hunter Davies biography page 141, a Starkey bloodline would have made him Scottish.

@Spasmus96 Liverpool is jokingly referred to as the Capital of Ireland due to the huge numbers of Irish Immigrants who moved/live there. All of the Beatles have Irish ancestry...Paul's cousins where at his wedding ( which was held in Ireland) there is old film of George and his cousins in Dublin (before he joined the Beatles)

Monaghan wher he got married to Heather Mills and his fathers forbears also hail from Ireland. George Harrisons parents bothhad Irish Catholic backgrounds.

Do I really need to explain what the words, "not necessarily" mean? Or how people can maintain elements of there native culture wherever they settle? John and Paul were decended from Irish grandparents. Plus they came from Liverpool, which has the biggest Irish population in England. John Lennon was always accepted by the Irish as one of ours, and he himself (were he alive today) would tell you he would rather be Irish than English. I get Roy's take on this, it's funny and a very talented little piece, well put together and not to be taken seriously.

Of the Beatles. at least McCartney is and Lennon was half Irish. I don't know about Ringo and George Harrison. Liverpool is known to be home to the descendants of many Irish immigrants fleeing the famine or looking for work during World War II I believe. Lennon really embraced his Irish heritage. He wrote songs about the Troubles of the 1970s.

It sounds so genuine to a lot of real songs I've heard. I love all styles of music, so I love to hear culture integrated music. @jacksbacksucker George's parents were Louise and Harold Harrison, Roman Catholics with Irish roots. I'm a Beatle nut and write this with authority. George Harrison also states this in the Anthology documentary part 1. Freddie Lennon's father came from Dublin and this is quoted in the Philip Norman tome on Lennon.
