@@Splatakv I honestly don't know if anybody has covered this, but I was wondering if you could somehow make a video out of this, because after learning a little bit about the Zonai, they sound more like a lost " alien " tribe. So, here we go. Ok, I had to take a DEEP breath before typing this, because I don't know if you'll ever reply to this or consider this to be a legitimate theory, but I'll post it anyway. Before I do though, I have to say that I'm a HUGE Zelda fan, and it's very dear and near to my heart, and ever since I've been learning more about the Zonai recently, the Zonai are starting to remind me more and more of the Chozo tribe from Metroid {more specifically Metroid Prime}. As a matter of fact, Zelda and Metroid share something interestingly similar with each other, both of their two core tribes are as follows, The Legend of Zelda - Zonai and Sheikah tribe, Metroid - Chozo and Mawkin tribe, and not only that, but both of these two tribes have a truly significant presence AND impact on the main character/protagonist of the entire video game franchise, Samus Aran - Metroid, and Link - The Legend of Zelda. Due to Samus having both Chozo and Mawkin DNA, she's able to utilize and wield the highly advanced technology, agility, and superhuman feats of the Chozo, Plus, her iconic power suit that's permanently fused with her body was designed by the Chozo themselves, and she also has physical combat prowess, reflexes, AND strength just like the Mawkin. Link on the other hand utilizes and wields the highly advanced alien {more on the alien technology later} technology of the Zonai, and he also utilizes and wields the ancient yet highly sophisticated and mystical technology of the Sheikah. Oh, and something else, both Samus and Link are able to harness unimaginably powerful abilities with their arms, Samus went through a truly extremely aggressive metamorphosis and transformed into a full blown Human Metroid due to her having Metroid DNA from a Metroid Vaccine in order to overcome the X parasite that had infected her {of which she can now absorb effortlessly}. In the first reveal trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, {which was initially known as " Breath of the Wild 2 "} Link's right arm was shown being fused with some green ethereal energy {presumably Zonai related} and now his arm looks superhuman, his fingernails are now basically claws {JUST LIKE SAMUS'S claws on her fingers when she becomes a Human Metroid}, and he can now manipulate and control time itself AND objects by just a flick of his right hand, and he can also travel straight through solid objects with ease, and who knows what other powerful abilities he can now wield? What's my point? Well, there seems to be a lot of dissimilarly similar parallels between the Zelda and Metroid universe. In other words, a ironic oxymoronic paradox, two completely different universes with dissimilarities that contain " mirrored " similarities but aren't supposed to, or simply put, two juxtaposed universes with seemingly cryptic synonymous connections that aren't supposed to exist simultaneously, but yet they are. It's profusely difficult to try to explain, but that's the best way I can sum all of that up. Now onto the " alien " technology aspect of Zelda that I mentioned earlier, this will be brief compared to my previous extensive soliloquy about Zelda and Metroid since I don't have sufficient knowledge on this nearly uncharted territory of Zelda lore. Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, apparently in the concept art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there was plans to include " alien " phenomena in Breath of the Wild but that idea was eventually scrapped. Interestingly enough, this isn't the only time that " alien " phenomena has been alluded to or merely mentioned in The Legend of Zelda franchise, in fact, alien beings had outright APPEARED in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask {I've never played Majora's Mask myself, I've just watched gameplay of it from others}, and Link had to shoot them with a bow and arrow, or else they would abduct the cows and Romani {this is of course obvious if you've played the game, I just included that for good measure👍} and she'd wake up the next morning sitting down in complete oblivion and confusion. Anyhow, I'm probably the ONLY person that's ever thought about this, but when you factor in all of that, would it really be far fetched to consider the possibility that the Zonai tribe could in fact be an alien race? And could the Zonai themselves be somehow related to the Chozo? I say this because in Metroid Prime, the Chozo are nowhere to be found, but you see an abundance of remnants and motifs that are directly related to the Chozo, just like how the Zonai are nowhere to be found in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild but their existence thereof past tense is clearly present in many areas of Hyrule. Could they truly be related? Who knows? At any rate, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is shaping up to be THE game of the century, I just thought I'd provide some interesting and in depth insight into the ever-so elusive and mysterious Zonai, and the virtually -improbable- nah impossible connections between them and the Chozo. If you managed to read THIS far into this analysis that I humbly attempted, then you a real one dawg😎. God Bless and GodSpeed🙏.

@꧁ꪶꪮꪜꫀꪶꪖᨶꫀ꧂ I guess ima real dawg 😎 lol. Sorry to take so long to respond - I wanted to make sure I had enough time to really read though your theory and give it the response it deserves! First off, thanks so much for watching and sharing your ideas. Also, I unfortunately have never played a metroid game (i 100% should though). So I can't speak to the comparisons, but as for aliens in zelda, i definitely agree its not far fetched nor out of the question. Heck, even in making a champion and an early demo for BoTW, they use aliens. In the book, they have concepts of spaceships, and the demo contained link sprinting away from lasers being shot down from the sky. And, like you mentioned- majora's mask also has aliens. I do believe there was a zelda tuber who covered aliens, but I can't think of who atm. if I remember Ill comment back here! Either way, I think its an interesting theory, and not as far fetched as it might seem. I would need to look into metroid first but I so appreciate you taking the time to write out this! Definitely would be a fun video!

If they're doing underground and cavern stuff. Plopping a dungeon right there would be easy.. I figured with your artistic abilities, you'd be able to 3d render the specific architecture that's in BoTW, and then speculate from there..?

Interesting idea! I hadn't ever thought of connecting Levias' condition to Naydra's, but you're right, it's not really such a far-fetched concept. I'm also reminded of how Gorons debut as antagonists in Twilight Princess, although there it's due to a series of communication issues that you need to clear up... and the boss fight there is also against a Goron chieftain corrupted by dark magic, who needs to be struck in an unnatural additional eye to be harmed... hmm. On this general note, I remember having an idea for a Malice-corrupted Talus after seeing the one with a Bokoblin camp on its back and starting to think about what else you could use a Talus as a "platform" for -- for instance, a "Malice Talus" might have pools of Ganon gunk covering its weak spot until the eyes are dealt with and/or Malice mouths popping out skulls during the fight.
@Splatakv

Oh wow I love that idea of a talus fight!! There would be so much to juggle with the eyes, and getting to the stone to smash! What an awesome idea!! It would be great to have another goron boss battle 😊 , I can so easily see the phases playing out! What if malice infected people were this games version of the villagers under attack in BotW? As you try to climb the malefic death mountain, a red and brown cannonball descends upon your location from the cliff above, before unfolding to try and pick you apart. You can knock out the infected goron with sword or bomb or big metal cube or any other weapon at your disposal, leaving them unconscious and unable to attack you, but still infected - or you can put an arrow through both of the malice eyes and the grateful goron gives you a present in thanks for freeing him. A goron might give you anything from a diamond to rock-hard food (hey, you didn't expect a goron to be carrying a meat dish, did you?), while a liberated zora could give you a fish dish or an electro potion.

Love love love this!! That’s definitely how I imagine climbing up death mountain a second time. The villager aspect is super interesting!!! I’m down for a rock roast prize haha. I believe that there will be three sets of seven trials that are all interconnected somehow. There are the temples in the sky which grant new divine based abilities, the dungeons below the surface which grant new Zonai spirit magic, and the events on the surface which grants new key items. As for the Gorons turning evil that is a distinct possibility though I much prefer Zeltic's idea where they become explosive statues because I really don't want to fight them.
@Splatakv
@Splatakv 2 жыл бұрын
Definitely agree on the temples in the sky and getting new powers or upgrades through them. And Zeltiks video was excellent. Even though I love the Gorons I still found them super fun to fight in hyrule warriors, so I’m fine with it! I don’t think the Nejiron aren’t unlikely- but they are creatures that have evolved to mimic a Gorons appearance, not actual Gorons. So I don’t know if thats what will happen. But they could rewrite the lore for ToTK!
@andresmarrero8666
@andresmarrero8666 2 жыл бұрын
@@Splatakv would it be a rewrite or bad humor on Gannon's part? It isn't hard to see the corruption in Gorons resulting in something similar to the creatures that were mimicking them to begin with. As a result the same name is slapped onto them.

@Splatakv 2 жыл бұрын
@@andresmarrero8666 it’s true I think ganon will truly be looking to shake up all of hyrule in a dramatic way. Empty husks would accomplish that. But his cruel humor could also be links goron brothers taking him down themselves.

@andresmarrero8666 2 жыл бұрын
@@Splatakv fair though technically he already did that with the Guardians and divine beasts. He might not be in the mood for a repeat. Switching gears a little I think the Rito would be suffering from something Vaati inspired. Out of all the incarnations of Demise's hatred Vaati was the most impactful and he is known for stirring up gaint cyclones like the one seen over the area. So even though Vaati is practically a mindless force at this point I think something inspired by him is happening there such as the Rito being slowly converted into armos and beamos. As the archers of the sky are grounded by the raging winds they find themselves slowly becoming stone automatons, grounded and silent. That sounds fittingly horrific and it references Vaati's petrification of Zelda and him turning Elzo into a hat.

Great art, one thing I would add to is to probably make the eye retractable in a hole like the one infecting levias in SS. It would likely get squashed if it was just webbed there, vulnerable and can only respond by summoning animated beings to defend itself. Another is to keep the webbed eye but have malace bone like structure protecting the eye. Oftentimes in the Divine Beasts there is one that has spikes protecting it and can either be bombed or shot with an arrow.
@Splatakv
@Splatakv 2 жыл бұрын
Agreed! Didn’t say that in the video but I think you are 100% right that the eye would retract of be protected in some way. Possibly hiding between the rocks on the back, or a rock exterior that is fused with malice maybe? Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!! And thanks for watching!

Also, I think instead of the eye concept, I think to remove the malice you need to use the hand that Link has, similar to how it was seemingly removing malice in the first trailer from Ganon, maybe you remove the malice by using the hand!

I assume that there is probably going to be a new form of chaos in each of the main villages. Goron City will have the malice covered Death Mountain, and there is promotional art for TotK that shows a big tornado surrounding what looks to be Rito Village. No telling what Gerudo Town and Zora's Domain will have going on. My assumption is that Ganon's Malice is spewing out from within Death Mountain and you'll have to go inside it to cleanse it. Ganon has been stuck under Hyrule Castle for 10,000+ years, and his Malice has been seeping out all that time. I have no doubt in my mind that he's probably spread it all throughout Hyrule's roots and it flares up once he becomes free (He is set free once link gets the green hand powers. In the trailer, the green hand it shown catching links arm while he's falling, so of course Ganon would take that chance to escape or make a big move...he's been waiting for his chance for centuries.) I only assume it becomes malice infected after a trigger of some sort because in a previous trailer (i think the 2nd one??) you can see death mountain in a normal state. ANYWAYS, you can clearly see that Death Mountain doesnt have lava flow. Not sure how that'll pan out. Another thing i just want to point out is that there are no shrines!!! Like anywhere.. what happened to them??? also the towers are missing too! You can see big hole where the Ridgeland Tower should be. Safe to assume all the towers are floating islands now? or perhaps underground? I'm sure the big hole they leave behind is something worth exploring too. The 4 big pillars that would surround Hyrule Castle are also missing, no telling where they went either. I've got a ton of more small things i could share, maybe i could make a video compiling everything? Anyways, great video and i always love your artwork! Keep up the great work
