What If the Jedi Council Fought at the Temple During Order 66

Order 66 wiped out 99% of the Jedi Order. What would become of the Jedi had the entire Jedi Council been present on Coruscant? Would Anakin Skywalker still fall to the dark side? Or with the Council present would he stand by their side to defend his home?

Long enough to no longer think about it anymore. Halfway to a Lt Dan, quarter of the wsy to an Anakin. Necrotizing fasciitis. Nasty condition, hollowed the lower leg on inder 72 hours. Came too close that time, almost didn't make it. Glad I have the mindset I do. Was laughing and joking o3n the ICU, planning how to get back on the bike, and looking up funny amputee t shirts, pn Amazon, the next day.

I started to watch (listen) this while I was falling asleep last night and it was an awesome story that ended up influencing my dreams. Which I rarely have anymore but it was one of the most vivid I’ve had in years. I’m not sure who I was exactly in my dream because it wasn’t in our universe at all and I never saw a reflection of myself. There where many ups and downs in it and I woke up right as it was starting to look like the light side was gonna make a comeback. The dream sequence went through multiple eras of time which made it a bit confusing to remember everything that took place. Always enjoy yalls what if stories though as it is a god escape from the turbulent reality which is our universe

Anakin, Obi-Wan, Plo, Shaak, Kit, and Depa surviving Order 66 genuinely made me happy. They are my favorite Jedi from the Clone Wars era! They each represent the best aspects of the Jedi Order in their own way. Anakin represents the tenacity and confidence of a Jedi. Obi-Wan represents the levelheadedness and dedication of a Jedi. Plo represents the wisdom and humility of a Jedi. Shaak represents the compassion and elegance of a Jedi. Kit represents the simplicity and joy of a Jedi. Depa represents the passion and selflessness of a Jedi. Part of the reason why I consider Luke to be the best Jedi is because he is the culmination of all these traits, everything good about the Jedi. If he had grown up with all these Jedi as his teachers, he could have potentially become the strongest Jedi ever despite already being powerful by himself.

What if Anakin warned the Jedi that Palpatine was issuing Order 66? After his lapse in judgment, lashing out at Mace Windu, and kneeling to Sidious, He was given his orders and left for the temple. But after leaving Sidious, the fog of confusion lifted, and he realized he couldn'tr do it. He calls the temple to warn them what is coming, telling them the clones will turn on the Jedi, even as Sidious was busy issuing those very orders. It was a race against time to warn as many Jedi as possible so that they wouldn't be taken by surprise. Some would have mere seconds of advance notice, while others had minutes. Others, sadly died before anyone could contact them. Thousands still died, but many more had a fighting chance to escape the betrayal. The Temple was placed on immediate lockdown. Anakin didn't know what to do. Caught between the Senate and the Temple, all he could think of was protecting Padme. Should he go to her, try to break the siege on the Temple or try to return to fight Palpatine?

At that point, I think Anakin's best choice would be to take command of the 501st and convince them that the Jedi were attacking the Senate. Lead them away from the Temple and use them to beseige the Chancellor's office under the guise of a rescue operation. Assuming that Anakin didn't know about order 65, he would have to convince the troops that his orders were still in compliance with order 66.

Sidious being severely injured and then it would be a sith vs Jedi civil war with sidious forcing clones and inquisitors and fallen jedis to hunt Jedi padawans younglings and knights while the order going into hiding since they are at their most vulnerable , and the Jedi returning to fight with the rebel 5 years after order 66 , so the rebel alliance would have jedis as commanders

While interesting the chances of Grievous committing to a suicide attack seems low, given the CIS leadership was supposed to be waiting for word from Sidious and/or his new apprentice, thus they'd wait until it was clear Sidious from their perspective had abandoned them, thus their left with be tried as war criminals and instigating a rebellion against the Republic, or do the only move they have left and press the button to release their droid reserves Sidious had them holding back, and hope Grievous and whatever new heavy hitters they could bribe/hire into fighting for them would be able to turn the war around enough to force the Republic to negotiate.
