Today, we look at a mapping scenario where the Russian Empire returns. The Russian Empire, one of the largest and most powerful in history, covered a huge land area in Eurasia. Much similar to the later Soviet Union, the Russian empire held a large sphere of influence and was often involved in world events. This empire collapse mid-WW1, but what if it returned in the modern day? The Russian Empire would be the largest country in the world, taking over many countries in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. The Russian Empire would most likely be the most powerful country, and with this, would seek to expand its borders even deeper into its surrounding neighbors. Many countries would try to stop it, forming coalitions and alliances, but none would come clock to victory, most likely. The Russian Empire didn't "go away", it got re-branded a couple of times. Russia has an economy equivalent to that of Belgium plus the Netherlands. It is not in the same league as the US or China, except that it has nuclear weapons. Russia has both a declining and ageing population; 70% are in the 30% West of the Urals. Russia looks huge on the Mercator projection map, but in terms of land area you could fit both Russia and China into Africa with room to spare.

western galicia and cracow(forgive me if cracow was also considered galician at the time) was at the time(1895~) under austro-hungarian control, the southern kuril islands(iturup, shikotan, the habomai islands, and kunashir) were under japanese control, hiuumaa and saareema are under russian control(i believe this is just out of a forgetfulness to add in those small details but still), uriankhai/tuva is under qing control, and memel is under german control

This is to give you some advice, as a fan since pre-2022, maybe pre-2021. I was watching your videos when you were a little over 30k. If you are going to switch channels, it must be into a political/historical genre. Maybe alternate history. You could make historical scenarios, which, while you might map the border changes, will be mainly focused on history and politics. This way, your viewers would still have a certain amount of familiarity, but you can move to a topic or topics that you find more interesting. Drew Durnil had a phase where he was switching content from Gaming. He initially posted Civ 6 and Hoi4 videos, before moving on to AI-only battles, then switching to just random niche history games and reviewing history memes and maps. There was a natural progression of topics based on what people were liking and keeping with the topic of, "history". What this means for you is, If you post something similar to your old content, but in a transitional state to something that you like, you will be able to give your audience a breath of fresh air, renew your love for the content, and improve quality overall.

I noticed a few errors at the beginning with the Russians European borders: The Russian Empire didn’t control all of Ukraine, some parts were part of Austria-Hungary. Same with Poland, Austria-Hungary had a part of modern day Poland. The Russian Empire at its peak also controlled Alaska, before the Treaty of Cession, you Silly Willy! Can you do a what if the Mongol Empire returned to the modern day? And, maybe you can have countries go back in time, like, maybe put the Russian Federation back into World war 1 as its own country. Like, all the ww1 countries would be the same, accept Russia. Maybe put them just before world war 1, so, they have time to prepare. And, since Russia is from the future, maybe they could use that to their advantage in ww1.
