I think it should be an animated Fortnite style series divided in seasons based on every chapters' lore so they can make it with more time instead of a movie, where you clearly can't tell all the storyline in 2-3 hours. Also, I think they can produce some spin-offs to cover the backstory of some storyline characters/factions like Jonesy or the IO, Last Reality, etc.

I made a concept for a Fortnite movie a while ago, it was before the rise of Midas event happened so it would retcon it but here it is: The movie would be animated and made by Dreamworks, it would be based on Chapter 2 Season 2 and would have Skye as the protagonist and would be about having to stop Shadow with Chaos Agent being the “main villain” (also according to Midas, chaos agent killed skyes mom, who was a former agent of Midas, which would be skyes motive for joining midas) and the other agents, Maya, Peely, Tntina, Brutas, Meowscles, and Deadpool would choose sides (ghost or shadow) and would cause conflict between them, this would be most of the first and second act but it would be revealed at the end of the 2nd act when Midas goes “to kill Chaos Agent” (Skye would sneak along) that Chaos Agent was a robot created by Midas and ghost vs shadow was just a distraction crated so people won’t know about the device, and Midas would be revealed to be the main antagonist of the movie. (Who also was skyes moms true killer) Midas’s motive would be to use the device to break the loop, but then take it over and turn it into his image of a perfect kingdom (That would tie into why he joined the IO before betraying them), Skye and Midas would then fight and Midas would win, knocking out Skye and believing she died Skye would then obviously still be alive and get a few characters (drift, Peely, and Deadpool) to stop Midas before it’s too late leading to the climax with the device being activated and Skye (wearing spectra Knight as armor for protection against the golden touch) and Midas (Wearing Cyclo to control the device and can be used as armor as well) having a final fight on top of the agency, but obviously the device would destroy the storm and the island would flood, Midas and Skye would have one final battle before Midas gets thrown off the agency and into the water, where a shark eats him The movie would end with Skye going off the island to go on a new adventure, the end

I think Idea 1 just wouldn't work at all, simply trying to win a game feels too boring for a film plot wise even if there would be loads of possible action. Instead, I think they would basically pull a page from 3 other Disney films, Wreck It Ralph, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. It just makes perfect sense, Fortnite is basically iconic for their crossovers more than anything so an original story with loads of cameos across IPs would fit so well. If they can get like Sonic, Bugs Bunny, Bowser, Ryu, Pac-Man, My Little Pony, ET, Batman, Skeletor, etc. in those 3 films as an example despite Disney not owning any of those characters, they could easily probably pull off the same for a Fortnite film, especially for any collabs already in the games. Basically follow a group of main Fortnite characters (Jones and/or Hope maybe to tie into the current game storyline?), some plot involving the Zero Point and island, they get help from other characters (both Fortnite original and collabs) and take down some villain (maybe the IO, maybe something brand new, maybe something from another universe, etc.)

@@BrandonGiesing I disagree, I think adapting a season story would be the best idea, here’s an idea I had: i already made a comment with a full concept but here’s a summary of it, (it does retcon the rise of Midas event though since I made it before that happened) it’s based on Chapter 2 season 2 and Skye is the main character, she joined Midas because her mom was a former agent of Midas and Midas said that chaos agent killed skyes mom when Skye was a child, and chaos agent would be the “main villain” Then the first and second act would be the ghost vs shadow conflict, but at the end of act 2 Skye would find out chaos agent is a robot, and Midas was the one who actually killed Skyes mom, making him the twist villain Midas real motive would be to use the device to break the loop, and then take over the island and turn it into his image of a perfect kingdom The final act would be Skye and a 3 other characters going to stop Midas and Skye and Midas have a final battle while the device is going on, with Skye winning but the island still gets flooded I also think dreamworks would be a good studio to make it

I think that if a Fortnite movie was to be made, Donald Mustard should direct it. He may not work on the game’s story anymore, but he sure as hell made the story what it is today. And besides, he works in the movie industry now with the Russo brothers, so it’s possible.

I honestly think it would be cool if Fortnite made their movie based off of Save The Worlds storyline. That cast of characters have good chemistry and seem fun to fallow. It would also be cool for them to ecnolage their original, core storyline and forgotten main character.

You see, i am all for animation, but having that said, fortnite is already animated and whats the point if they are to make a whole movie in the same style, now if they did some other animation styles, idk how thatll be, so a live action will be cool, as long as they cast right Now i think they should make the story on either what you said, like the batman comics, fighting in battle Royale and by the end of the movie, finding out about the io, hence a sequel But personally ill LOVE A SHOW on CH5 S1 as it starts fresh and is not all over the place like the old story.

The Fortnite movie could start with IO'S backstory and then explain the Seven's backstory and then it will show events that were very important in the story of Donald showing what happened previously and Marvel and Disney collabs will be in the movie same with new ones to tease new collabs in this movie and the movie will have us follow Jones and he will win a game of Fortnite on a map created for the movie combining ch1, ch2, and ch3 because IO sends him into the Loop and he wins a game of Fortnite and he is on the island not trapped in the Loop anymore and we then see the story of Renegade Raider from when she returned home from the Fortnite X Batman comics and then she will be called by Jones and Renegade Raider will return to the island to help Jones invade IO and the Seven will return to help Jones invade IO and Jones will gather a huge team of people that escaped the Loop to invade IO and some will be collab characters from other franchises than Marvel and it would tease new collabs from them too and the team would have Aieral Assault Trooper and the team would invade IO in ch3 s2 defeating IO in Collision and then realities will be created via the Big Bang that the team will see and the team will be split up into other realities Renegade Raider and Aieral Assault Trooper will be back in ch1 s1 in the OG mode having to fight other people and Jones and some collab characters and the Rock would end up in Ballistic as defenders and then the other characters in the team will be split across Lego Fortnite, Brick Life, Rocket Racing, Festival, Reload, and creative and all the team will have to do the objectives to be together again when they arrive on the ch6 map teasing the return of the Seven to ch6

I think they could make at least 8movies the first one being the ch1 end event the second one being Midas storyline third being the cube queen ch2 end event io vs seven for the fourth the herald which could also show the last reality the fifth would be the oathbound the sixth would be kado Thorne the seventh would be megalodon and the eight would absolute doom and actually finish it out well I don’t think they should really relate these to the to the storyline and just make them based around what’s happening
