I really like ideas like Looming Locust that give attention to Pokémon that could use it and Iron Sadness that expand upon the implications of certain Pokédex entries, but as for starters, I kinda feel like there are a lot of other Pokémon that could benefit way more from getting paradox forms then them. It’s on brand for Game Freak to do, but it’s just not how I’d go about it personally. I really like all these designs though

I think these designs and concepts of Iron Sphere, Looming Locust and Iron are very well designed and well thought. I like how Iron Sphere is designed with inspiration from Miraidon while be less robotic and still being technological. Looming Locust has a great design it especially represents Flygon’s draconic and primal nature from a million of years ago and Iron Sadness has a especially great backstory with its creation being linked with Togekiss becoming extinct in the future do to the bleakness and sadness of the future and researchers and scientists trying to revive Togekiss from extinction by trying to put whatever essence of Togekiss inside a robotic body creating Iron Sadness.

As said as the concept of Iron Sadness is, I would like to point out my theory that all the Paradox Pokémon aren't time displaced but are artificial constructs born from the collective minds of people's imagination of what some Pokémon once had or will look like in the past and future. And besides, the games seem to indicate that strife is in more short supply then the Pokedex would suggest

Love these designs. If I had to nitpick, I think past Paradox Flygon would exude the Bug type more if it had more limbs rather than fewer compared to the base form. Still a great set, though. Looking forward to part 4!

Are you familiar with Ace Attorney? There is a little robot called Widget that represents one of the character's emotions, and the design for Iron Sadness looks a lot like it. I think it would be cool for Iron Sadness to be able to potentially access other emotions too, even if only temporarily - maybe like battle forms? Happy form, Angry form, etc.

I'd like to see a future Paradox form for Porygon. One that blends design aspects for all three members of the evolutionary line, so it would be sharp and angular like Porygon, but with two arms, and each arm is made of two semi-oval shaped limb segments that can separate from it's body just like Porygon 2 can with It's legs, and Porygon Z could with it's arms. It would be a pure Steel with really high physical Attack and almost exclusively learn punching moves thanks to those new arms, and also have high Special Defense.

Some kind of ancient version, if it were possible, of Mewtwo or Genesect would especially be, well, paradoxical, and I think that kind of oxymoron would be interesting. There might be some possibility to it, though, given that they did give Magneton a Past Paradox, and neither of them look natural at all. But maybe Past Paradox Genesect could be based on Steampunk or something like that. Iron Sphere also very much looks like it's based on Wall-E's EVE. Looming Locust is also kind of cute to me. Not as adorable in my eyes as Flygon, but still.

honestly i feel like the future paradox forms in this video could use a new way to use their changed types that their designs reflect to make them feel like a bit more than robot versions of existing pokemon while i do think electric/grass and flying/ghost are fun type combos i can't think of abilities to complement them, the ideas i did have based on their designs are iron sphere being a robot gardener (maybe its wings could be replaced with hedge trimmers?) and iron sadness causing rain everywhere it flies because of how sad it is (not sure how this could be reflected design-wise)

Something that I think would be cool would be a past paradox version of something from the Rowlet line. I'm thinking either something like a spear (the long ranged weapon of choice before the bow was invented) or go full terror bird with Decidueye and give it an obsidian axe for a beak. I think in either case replacing the grass type makes the most sense, giving it fighting for the spear or ground for the obsidian. I don't have a name for the spear one but something like Glass Thrasher sounds good for the latter design. I'm not particularly fond of the future paradox Pokémon personally, but one I'm surprised they *DIDN'T* give a paradox form to in either direction was Octollery. There's so many ways to explore the development of seige engines & guns, but a future form that's like, a plasma cannon or something just *feels* like a gimme

Unevolved Pokémon cannot be Paradox Pokémon if they come from the future. There doesn't seem to be any exceptions. And those who come from the past, they can remain unevolved if the evolution method of their original species is unnatural, like using stones to evolve instead of a level up.

I need some fire type ancient forms. I really think a Fire/Fairy Ancient Infernape would be a good one. Make it's appearance more resembling Sun Wukong. I was just thinking of an interesting Future paradox Ditto could be a similar idea to the common future Rotom concept where it's a combination of many things but maybe have the ditto face all over it maybe like a ditto hive mind that works together and like mew learns almost all moves and maybe a past mew that looks closer to a true angel and maybe create a new paradox group above Iron Valiant/Roaring Moon giving Paradox Ditto/Mew 630 and give them 105 in all stats maybe call the future Ditto Type Full (idk for sure but Type:Null is the only other chimera pokemon and this could be a project based on these records) and past Mew Watchful Gaurdian

Oh god Iron Sadness needs a hug so bad, especially from its present form! As for the Future Paradox Pokemon being robots, one must consider that they respond to organic food (sandwiches). This means they might be more akin to cyborgs, or at least can run on such fuel. They could also be the result of a technological singularity, with all organic life integrating with machines as a means to survive when the world can no longer sustain purely organic beings - likely the result of human action.

10:10 - 10:16 Here is my own personal theory on what happened in the future to make all the future paradox Pokémon robots. I believe that some catastrophic event, lets say killing the dinosaurs level of catastrophic, killed all the Pokémon, but because of how much research scientist have been putting into learning about Pokémon they have managed to find a way to resurrect Pokémon by putting their deceased souls into robotic bodies. While this does sound very bleak It’s just a personal theory that I have that probably isn’t canon, but it is going to be canon according to my fan game that’s going to be structured like Pokémon legends Arceus, except it takes place in the future instead of the past. A second part of this theory is that since ghost type Pokémon were already technically dead before the catastrophic event happened most ghost type Pokémon if not all ghost type Pokémon were either not affected at all by the Shock Wave (which is what I’m calling the catastrophic event for now), or the effects were very minor to them. PS. For some unknown reason, humans were not affected by the Shock Wave (Update: the Shock Wave is now called the Paradox Shock Wave for obvious reasons)

Antlions aren't dragonflies and Flygon is known as a desert spirit. The current type combination makes the most sense. Having reptilian features doesn't automatically make one a Dragon type. They also need to have control over arcane energy to be such. And having many past forms be Dragon type because they're reptilian and many future forms be Steel type because they're robot like seems kinda creatively lacking. Yanmega has the biggest case since it's based on a griffinfly, an ancestor to the dragonfly. However, in Japan, the draconic connection with dragonflies don't exist in their language, so the thought never came to them.

While I like the idea of a futuristic Togekiss, I’d see it more aggressive and angry rather than sad. If Togekiss went extinct due to strife, then maybe the desperate attempts from a scientist could try to replicate that happiness, but because this Pokémon is being forced to be happy, it breaks from its intended programming and becomes hostile. Think of it like Mewtwo, but put onto the most innocent and kindhearted Pokémon, and pull a bait and switch. Imagine seeing one in the wild and think that because Togekiss is good natured, you could approach it and try to capture it…. Only for it to turn at you with hatred and chase after you before you could react in terror.

I have a theory that in the distant future, there's another "great war" in the pokemon world like in Kalos. Only this time, there's much more technology, the whole pokemon world is destroyed and every pokemon goes extinct. The surviving humans took DNA from existing pokemon of the past and put them into man made robots to try to preserve pokemon and make them able to withstand nuclear fallout. But they haven't found DNA of every pokemon so that's why pokemon like iron valiant exists. Thats my theory.
