I am reminded of weekend sailing for 2 years in the mid 80's with a boyfriend. His first boat was 23' long and the 2nd 26'. I was never so cold in my life! Great video Flossy. Your commentary superb!

It’s so nice see the Catalina 27! My family had a Catalina 22 and later a Catalina 34! I haven’t seen inside one since my parent’s divorce in the 70s. Such fun memories sailing all over California and Mexico on the boats, especially in the SF Bay, our home base. We used to trail the 22 to so many lakes here.

It’s so much fun watching your videos. I live just over the border in Bellingham and I have explored the land and the bay. But I have never been under the water so it’s awesome to see from that perspective. Thanks for sharing.

I found out something wonderful recently. When I ask "is that a seal or a sea lion?" I can know that sea lions and seals are separate things, but also, sea lions are in a group that is included under the umbrella term "seals". So a harbor seal is a harbor seal, and the sea lion is a sea lion, but if someone asks if a sea lion is a seal, I can say that it is and not be wrong. I'm looking for ways to be both accurate and welcoming to people with all sorts of knowledge, and I delight in things like this.
