The whole reason Toji is strong because his cursed energy was traded for his abilities hightened, so if he had cursed energy, that wouldn't happen.

He has the finger, so even though he may not figure it out soon enough to kill the monster before it kills his friends, I feel like some sorcerer would find him, tell him what the finger is and what it means, and then the story would somewhat continue from there.

If Toji had cursed energy, he’d be pathetic (or at the least a lot weaker) he couldn’t have heavenly restriction, also you’re saying Toji would want to do what he did before, but that’s a lie, he wouldn’t be treated as less then human when he gets birthed, also, gojo wouldn’t be that strong because he wouldn’t be awakened, he wouldn’t even have reversed cursed technique, you’re first scenario is kind of unrealistic for that part, but if we assume he does that again, both gojo and Geto would die, the star plasma vessel (I don’t know her name) would also die, aka Kenjaku has two good vessels, if Toji puts megumi in jujutsu high, or Megumi gets into jujutsu high somehow, sukuna will exist again, becoming Yuji, now two things could happen, Yuji accepts his execution, or he lets Sukuna do his thing and goes against jujutsu society, but Sukuna basically can’t win here unless disaster curses do things with Yuji, or Kenjaku does things with Yuji, both work.

You also have to recognize that one of the reasons Toji killed Gojo was because Gojo couldn't sense Toji. If Toji had Zenin level cursed energy, than Gojo could sense him well before he could even make a move.
