Unless he was secretly Aerys' bastard and Tywin knew it! Having your true son and heir replaced by the bastard of your former friend turned greatest enemy would be the worst result possible for Tywin! No matter how much Jaimie wanted to be a Kingsguard nor how suited to rule Casterly Rock Tyrione would become, Tywin would plot to stop it. Only if Aerys died soon after and Tywin remained Lord Hand of the new King Rhaegar(Cersei still at court waiting for Elia to die)would Tywin tolerate such a circumstance. Of course, Cersei would probably screw it all up even if she did become Rhaegar's queen. By having Jaimie's bastard(s) most likely!

It would have been a lot easier for Tywin to accept losing Joanna for another healthy son to carry on his line. And if Tyrion showed the same shrewdness he did as a Dwarf, Tywin would have had no problem making him his heir after Jaime was made a Kingsguard

And Cersei was away from Casterly Rock most of his life in the capital…she really wouldn’t have been a daily encounter for him. Had he been able to engage in physical pursuits like jousting and hunting, etc…would he have sat soaking up books like he did with his crippled body? Maybe…Sam did. But most would not.

And Kevan seems like he's a very capable general and well-studied. Tyrion might also follow that path just to eek out an advantage over his Kingsguard-at-16 brother under Tywin's achievement centered parenting.

Or given Cersei's obsessive need for Jaimie, she would become insanely jealous of his affection for their brother. Remember, even when Cersei believed she could become Rhaegar's next wife and future queen, she wanted Jaimie at her side. Thus she began her plan to get him into the Kingsguard. Having Tyrione remain in Casterly Rock away from them would be a bonus!

Hmm I think that's a really good point but my feeling is that Cersei is still such a superficial and vain person that it's much easier to hate Tyrion since he is ugly and a dwarf, if he was beautiful like Jamie, it would be harder for her to hate in my opinion.

Honestly a disturbing thought but Cersei probably would’ve tried to have sex with Tyrion as well if he wasn’t born a hideous disfigured dwarf…. He would’ve found love, however Tyrion would still probably hate his father as that situation with Tasha would’ve still most likely happened if we’re just changing the physical appearance of Tyrion to not be a dwarf…as Tywin Lannister had a terrible history with whores wearing his mother’s jewels gifted by his father Tytos ordering commands around. Tywin despite making that brothel room still very much hated whores… although he enjoyed probably the experience with them… it was deeper as he thought it made him weaker as his father was the Laughing Lion… Joffrey would’ve taken him a lot more serious as Tyrion with no patience and a body of a man towers over his nephew… He may have had a stronger connection with his brother and Jaime may actually train his brother to duel as well… and I think Tywin although upset his wife died may have more willingly give up Casterly Rock… to Tyrion and named him his heir. Note- for this Tyrion still has his brains and characteristics of Tyrion but another body…this is somewhat what I think would’ve changed… Tyrion might have had sex with Sansa as Sansa was opposed A because her family was just killed and B because Tyrion was ugly and a dwarf… he would not have been made fun of as much

I 100% wrote it myself. I use Midjourney to create the images based on my prompts and then an AI reader to narrate it (at the moment) since I don't have the right set up to record with my own voice. He would have been groomed to rule by tywin since jamie is in captial and not allowed to inherit titles ajd cersei is queen. He still be clever and tyein would use that and help him hone it. His brother being a phenomenal swordsman would mean he would either get great skills training with him and his uncles plis men at arms at casterly rock. He probably end ip with somilar of not just as good skills. Seeing how tyrion naturally is a hard wroker for things that benefit him.
