Vegeta quits fighting/training until goku comes back for the tournment 7 years later, then he unretires and fights goku at the tournment. Everything stays the same in the Buu saga until the point where Gohan fights Dabura. This version Vegeta won't talk shit to Gohan because he's weaker than Gohan in this time line, since he didnt train for the last 7 years. I feel like in the end gohan will get the upper head of dabura then babadi will save Dabura before he gets defeated. But this time vegeta won't be evil so the z fighters with the supreme kai will end up killing babadi, dabura, and buu. Also vegeta would probably be closer to trunks/bulma and Vegeta would have more kids in this version. Lastly I think everything that happens in dragon ball super stays the same, im sure whis will train vegeta and he will become almost as strong as the original version.

Idk if Vegeta would go so far as to never train, particularly because if he wasn't focused on getting stronger than Goku, he'd probably end up bonding even more with his family in peacetime. I'd think he would want to protect them, at least after hearing about the events that took place in this what-if's version of the Boo arc. It wouldn't necessarily break his vow, either. I trained in mixed martial arts for six years, but never opted to take a fight, despite having ample opportunity. I can imagine Vegeta training under that technicality.

Regarding Resurrection F, I'm not sure Gohan would've degraded in power so much if Goku was dead and Vegeta was retired. Having those two around is probably a large part of why he became complacent in the first place. As for whether or not he could stand up to Frieza, I guess that depends on how hard Frieza trains before showing up.

A lot of this stuff was something even _Whis and Shin_ didn't know, and one of them has instant access to knowledge of others while the other has known Buu personally the longest and was around for most of it. There's no way Merus _doesn't_ know Buu was sealed in an egg.

The Dragon Balls were a prize for the bingo tournament, so they would definitely be used. And Bulma was using them periodically to make herself younger. So Earth is as good as gone. ....One thing you didn't address is that Beerus and Champa would still feud over the Super Dragon Balls. If that happened, it's possible that a U6-U7 tournament lead by Frieza could still happen. And a tournament of power with Frieza, Moro, Broly, Granolah, and the Heeters. And Zamasu stealing the body of Hit or Frieza.

I will agree with you with some points in this video but there's one thing that you're forgetting Dragon Ball super does not fit into the original continuity it is its own thing a skew off timeline that happened after the fight with Kid Buu. The closest vegeta has gotten to defeating a main villain is when he sacrificed himself to kill buu but buu regenerated and when he was about to kill Frieza but ultimately Goku had to step. even winning a major Event like the ToP, even tho Goku was really the one to defeat jiren it was 17 who actually won so realistically even 17 has a win. Obviously he’s way more important but sometimes he seems to be like no other z fighters who just THERE for some reason. Officially, Goku gohan 17 and granolah have wins. And one of the most popular characters vegeta is just there

Honestly, if 18 killed Vegeta during their fight, the rest of Z would have gone much more smoothly. Vegeta would never fought Cell and let him absorb 18 and become perfect which means either Trunks or Goku/Gohan, after training in the Time Chamber would kill Cell easily. (Either Trunks trains alone, with Piccolo or with Goku and Goku just uses the Chamber twice to train Trunks and his son) This of course leads to the Buu arc basically ending much sooner as you said and as for Super, fuck Super, who cares, it's basically bad fan fiction as far as I'm concerned and GT only has 1 good arc and one okay arc with the rest being meh or trash... just like with Super, when you think about it. So yeah, Vegeta dying after the fight with 18 benefits everyone.

@@QaamansLand Well killing Piccolo after the 23rd basically screws everyone over because Raditz would just fart Goku out of existence, also no Dragon Balls. If Goku kills Vegeta at the end of their first fight, it will probably make things harder for them on Namek. Vegeta kills Qui, Zarbon and Dodoria which was helpful for Gohan and Krillin even if that wasn't Vegeta's intention. He helps in the fight against the Ginyus, if only to buy time for Goku to show up. Honestly Goku definitely should have ended Frieza immediately after going SSJ. Namek might still be destroyed later on if Cold decides to drop by to investigate and seek revenge but as long as the Nameks don't talk, he wont discover Earth and Gero doesn't give Cell some of Frieza's power, potential and abilities which would be beneficial. Trunks might not show up from the future but since it's a different timeline with different outcomes, we cant be sure of that. They technically don't need Vegeta to kill 19 or 20 because Piccolo proved to be strong enough to take on both at least individually. Since Vegeta isn't alive to cause trouble, Cell may reach his second form, but not his perfect form. Assuming Trunks isn't a factor, Goku and Gohan would use the chamber instead and arrive in time to end Cell before he finds 18 and yeah, like I said, the Buu arc is a cake walk. Ideally, Goku shouldn't go all Cobra Kai until the Frieza fight, any time before that would alter events and not in a good way.

Actually if we are going with the idea Beerus never showing up on Earth. The Dragon Balls would've been used, because they were a prize to give away during Bulma's birthday party on the boat or at Capsule Corp so somebody most likely made a wish or 2. So no Frieza would come back to life like normal alongside King Cold (If somebody made 2 wishes on the dragon during Bulma's Birthday Party.), and kill everybody because nobody was expecting them to come back.

I still think in this scenario Goku would teach Goten and Trunks fusion since initially Goku wanted the next generation be the ones responsible to defend the earth and stop Buu. Not only that with no Goku around nor Vegeta being helpful there would be a chance Gohan's fight with Debura could be a wake up call and get him back into training so he could protect his loved ones and maintain the peace on the planet. It's not to unlikely when you consider that his future counterpart dedicated his whole life to protecting the planet. If you think about it by not being able to defeat Debura alone it could of made Gohan ponder about what would of happen if his father wasn't there and due to his slacking off he and everyone else could of died and that's why i think it could be a wake up call for him to keep up with his training.

If we add GT to this timeline after the fact then we have the following: The black dragon balls could still be used by the pilof gang but not in the wish against Goku, this could still kick off the grand tour and search for the dragon balls which would incounter baby and would not see the possession of any of vegeta but would possibly see both trunks, goten and gohan posed by baby. But keep in mind the fact that they might not even encounter baby is possible since Goku wouldn’t even be on this adventure. This could setup for super 17 ark possibly then into the shadow dragon ark but it is unlikely if the pilof gang don’t go for the dragon balls to begin with

Vegeta actually following through with never wanting to fight again would honestly go against everything he stands for. He was in his feelings because Gohan surpassed him. But that isn't the first time he got surpassed and got his feelings hurt. He still got back up and vowed to train harder to catch up. Vegeta would have the biggest L added to his record (13 - 8) Vegeta W’s Nappa, Cui, Dodoria, Namekian Village, Zarbon, Appule Guldo, Jeice, Ginyu, Burter, Recoome, bunch of trash frieza henchmen, Android 19 Vegeta L’s Goku, Zarbon, Recoome, Frieza (twice), 18, Cell, and not training Z Vegeta had a pretty bad W/L ratio, atleast it doesn’t get worse since he won’t train in Super :D
